It is easier to adjust setting in the App compared to the panel 2. The LCD panel is informative Cons: 1. It's not quiet. Apple watches shows the 52 dBa when running at the peak. I wonder the 42dBA only happened during drying. 2. The panel seal was bad, the steam from the top condensed into water drops during the drying cycle. We had concerned about the water damage to both the counter and the machine. Thankfully, Bestbuy let us exchange to another one we love. SHXM88Z75N 3. Without using rinse agent, you would expect a fairly wet basket after the end of cycle.

It's so bad that it must be defective and not just be bad at it. I will request a service call. If they claim it's working I will return it.

This doesn’t even compare with previously owned dishwashers. It is VERY quiet running. The third top rack is wonderful for silverware. Wasn’t sure if we would like it at first but not having to bend over to retrieve silverware is a huge plus. The WIFI settings are great. Wasn’t sure I really needed this but once we have it really like it. The only negative I have is the touch controls. It is hard to know what has been selected as the controls are not very sensitive to touch.
