I have had the new Bosch benchmark dishwasher for about 6 weeks now . I’m very pleased with how well it gets the dishes clean, with low noise level, and dries dishes well too . I would recommend to others in need of a good quality dishwasher.

DEDUCT ONE STAR FOR STUPIDLY OBVIOUS OVERSIGHT - If you live by yourself probably a non issue but if you are in a busy family it is a major annoyance; no easy way to glance at the dishwasher and tell if it is dirty or clean once the cycle has completed. Stunned that when everything is so carefully thought out they missed the stupidly simple idea of a simple LED on the control panel or the door to make it clear the contents have been washed. We pre-rinse to increase the longevity of the washer since treating it like a garbage disposal shortens the life span and increases the need for filter maintenance. That makes it less obvious if the load has been run with a quick visual glance. An LED light would be very helpful in this household. Tempted to remove another star for too many gimmicks. App control is nice but adds more things to break since the whole thing is digital. Did not though because it heats its own water with an internal heater, and has its own water softener. A big deal here because our last washer died early because of hardwater destroying the heating element and two pumps. We also like the extra top rack for utensils and it really does clean well. Nice to get reminders on the app when the water softener salt, or the rinse liquid levels get low and need attention. NOTE: Because it is digital and these usually plug in adjacent to the garbage disposal which can generate significant voltage spikes, as well as background electrical noise from things like fans and air conditioners, a good surge protector with filtering would be a great idea to help extend the life of the digital panel and other digital controls in the washer. Overall it is a really nice washer and we are hoping the extra cost translates to a long life.

I've had this dishwasher for approximately one month and so far I LOVE it! Gets dishes clean and all the soap is used from the dispenser with no scummy leftovers which is one thing I was hating from previous dishwasher. Easy to set and re-set and I love the lighted display that shows on the floor as it cleans

very happy with this one , very quite solid dishwasher , had a GE before huge difference in quality , the built in softener is a great addition ,highly recommended

Cleans very well and so quiet. Our kitchen is open to dining and kicing rooms and our old dishwasher could be heard, this one cannot be heard at all.

love this dishwasher! the third rack, the interior lighting, and the extra smooth ball bearings add value to what can be expected with a Bosch dishwasher. if you are in a position to treat yourself, do it. You won't regret it!

This dishwasher is outstanding, very quiet. The machine itself is made of very high quality material.

eerily quiet, cool features like the projected light on the floor that shows how much time remains for the wash, works great, very pleased with it.

Coming from a KitchenAid KDTM404KPS which died after 2 years(known issue...look it up before buying it), we decided to go for a brand known for its quality and durability. The Bosch benchmark dishwasher has been working great and clearly washes and dries dishes better than our kitchenaid ever did. Time will tell as to how long it lasts but given Bosch's history and prior reviews, we're hoping it gives us many years of service. What set the benchmark apart from the Bosch 800 or other models was the fact that it had a built in water softner, lights, super quiet operation(39dB) and smooth rolling racks. These are features that 800 did not have. Additionally, we cross shopped the Miele dishwasher as well but from what we have saw in various reviews, service from Miele was terrible if and when the appliance needed service. This swayed us to go for the Bosch. Additionally we paired it with the Geek Squad 5 year additional warranty given our bad luck with prior dishwashers. Overall we're very happy with the dishwasher.

Excellent dishwasher. It's soooo quiet. You can't even tell it's running even when standing right next to it. Thank goodness for the timer display at the bottom of the unit.

Great dishwasher, looks great inside and outside. Here are all the feature on the Bosch Benchmark you get on top of 800 series: 1) Water softener(requires salt), this is the key to cleanliness and spotless. 2) Ball Bearing rollers on the washer trays, makes pulling the trays in and out effortless. 3) LED projected floor light that displays time remaining and what cycle the dishwasher is currently at instead of a green/red dot.

Beautiful top-of-the-line Bosch dishwasher. Excellent build quality and extremely quiet! You won’t be disappointed. And Best Buy is the “best!”

So far the dishwasher itself is working well! I took off 2 stars because I do not appreciate Bosch requiring that I connect the dishwasher to the Internet and then setup an account with Home Connect, and then download the app in order to run certain cycles like Rinse, Machine Care, Eco, and Half Load. At this point I plan to live without these cycles but I am not happy about it. An app connected via blue tooth would be great - just not a fan of the account requirement, data collection, another device on my network, etc.
