Awesome bass with our new Bose ultra sound bar and surround sound speakers

... without going to the theater! Your neighbors will think you installed a professional-grade, wired theater sound system ... but, impress them with a Bose wireless sound system with this Subwoofer as its foundation! Feel your action movies ... be centerstage listening to your favorite music ... or, simply enjoy everyday TV with enhanced base. This is my second subwoofer, but first Bose subwoofer ... clearly an upgrade for me! Buy it today!

We bought this with the Soundbar 700 and soon will add the surround speakers. It replaced a Yamaha-based 7.2 surround system. We changed sound systems because we moved and the old system didn't fit well in our new living space. Pros: * The sound! * Wireless setup is great! These are our first wireless speakers. Not having to run speaker wires is wonderful. * The system includes a headset with a microphone on it that is used to tune the sound to the room. It makes a big difference. * The phone app is convenient and works well. * The system works with Alexa. We really like interacting with the sound system by voice. (The system also works with Google Assistant.) * Best Buy was great about exchanging our first unit (described below). Cons: * Our first unit wouldn't connect to the soundbar. We had to return it for a replacement. The problem was an old firmware version in the bass module. The bass module's firmware updates through the soundbar, so if it can't connect to the soundbar, it can't update it's own firmware. * Working with Bose support was frustrating while trying to figure out the problem. * The remote control that comes with the soundbar looks nice but is hard to use. We taped a piece of paper over it so we could find the volume and mute buttons. * We would like to say the setup is easy, but the firmware problem prevents that. * We had a problem with the TV turning off when using it with our HTPC. (We run office apps on it when we all want to view the same information.) Eventually, we realized that the soundbar was turning off the TV as an inactivity timeout. Overall, we love our new Bose system.

I was hesitant at first, since the price seems steep and we’ve already purchased the 900 series sound bar (which sounds amazing) but we ended up buying this when it went on sale and I do not regret it! It fills the room with deeper sounds and compliments the soundbar perfectly. The only complaint I have, is due to the wireless technology, I had to relocate the WiFi router that was in the tv console out of the direct imaginary line of travel for the signal to reach the soundbar. It kept thumping and crackling with the interference. After relocating, we’ve had no issues since!

This thing is so fancy. I finally decided to get one, and it’s definitely a game changer. Right when u open the box, you can tell this thing is a premium high class product. It looks great anywhere and combined with my soundtouch 300 it amplifies the whole home theater experience. It’s pricey, but definitely something you have to treat yourself to. The bass is deep clear crisp. I can’t get over it—it’s a good one to add to your home.

A necessary companion to the Bose Soundbar 700 in my view. It rounds out the base and depth of the sound which would be a bit too light without it. It's very easy to use because you just plug it in and it automatically syncs with your Soundbar 700. However, it must be added to the Bose app along with the soundbar to work properly. The acoustic function, which is suppose to optimize the sound depending on where you are sitting in the room offers no real benefit to me...so I opted back into the default setting. Bose speaker lovers will appreciate the Base Module 700.

If you want your neighbors to feel what you are listening to this is the system for you. It’s so easy to setup and is literal plug and plays with no wires to run. The bass is deeper than any other Bose product I have ever owned and I have had a few of them over the years. Well done Bose.

Solid base sound. Great improvement on experience with the soundbar.

This is a must-have for your Bose setup! I have been putting this off for years because I already have the 500 as part of a package. This makes me want to rewatch all the big production movies.

Good sounding sub if you have it full on bass on bose app otherwise you can not hear the bass much… it reduces the bass in the sound bar and moves the bass to the sub this makes it lsoe alot of possible bass. Over all speaker looks good in the home and if you can set it up in a bigger room and less sound suppression it sounds amazing! Do not recommend to apartment renters! I have gotten many nose complaints

I purchased The Bose Bass Module 700 from Best Buy and it is A high quality piece of merchandise that hits hard!! It gives me a sitting at the movie theater kind of feel along with the Bose 900 smart Sound Bar working in cohesion. The experience is breathtaking but you have to be there to really understand what I’m saying!! I plan to add surround speakers in the future to enhance the experience even more. If you love realistic audio, who’s better than Bose… No one. The Best Buy technicians were kind and informative during setup or installation and made sure that I understood how to operate the audio. Well done!!

The Bose bass module 700 sounds amazing. The bass is so rich that it can be felt throughout your body. Perfect for movies and music.

Bose does not disappoint! The smooth ,rich ,deep bass that this module puts out is for top quality. I also have the acoustimas 300. Both are top notch!!!

Makes a huge difference for bass and loudness when paired with the Bose soundbar. It’s a must have for a TV sound system. Only issue is being expensive. Easy set up and can be placed in front or in the back of the room without compromising quality.

Best bass boost for family movie nights. This was a great addition to our media room. It pairs very well with my Bose 900 soundbar and surround speakers.
