Movies come to life with the sound from this Bose system. Great bass, great all around sound!

For sound quality, ease of use and function for intended purpose I'd give this system 5 stars. I think what this system comes down to is for 600 bucks your going to get the cleanest, most balanced and in my opinion best sounding set-up for listening to TV and Movies. But that's it. I wish it had bluetooth connectivity for listening to music but I can't take a star away just for that. It's outstanding for it's intended purpose. I originally bought a Sony ($400, HBC 780). Highly rated reviews and at the price point I wanted to pay. I listened to everything in the store, wanted the Bose but was too practical to spend the extra $200. Was very pleased with the Sony, set it up on Sat afternoon and very much enjoyed it for 1 evening. Bluetooth was awesome. By Sunday afternoon it was no longer producing sound. All the features in the world don't matter if your speakers don't produce sound. After trouble shooting with no success, I boxed the Sony back up and headed back to Best Buy. Now the extra $200 didn't seem so bad, you get what you pay for. I was happy with the Sony but there is a noticeable difference with the Bose. I can hear every step, every door closing, every little detail. The spoken word is cleaner and more precise. The bass crossover is more accurate. I noticed with the Sony on certain male voices there was a low rumbling. If you lowered the sub setting for the voice you'd lose effect during the action scenes. This issue is not present with the Bose. Your not going to get the surround sound effect you would get from a 5.1 or 7.1 system. The Cinemate 120/130 get alot closer to reproducing a true surround experience but you'll need another $500 - $1000 to got that route. But sound bar to sound bar less than $1000 bucks this is a great choice. If you're looking to spend $400 - $500 bucks for a sound bar it's worth stretching a little more and giving up bluetooth for the Bose sound and technology. I believe the Bose is heads and shoulders above anything else I listed to.

I purchased this for my 2 bedroom townhouse. Perfect amount of sound and base. I would recommended for apartment life or condo's.

I chose these speakers because I trust the Bose name. They sound really great and doesn't take up much room. Great purchase for me.

The Cinemate 15 was easy to connect, and sounds great.

This is our 4th Bose purchase so when I searched for a sound system for our new Samsung smart t.v., it was a "no brainer" when I saw this on sale. The sound, as expected, is spectacular! Our room is small so it's almost like being in a small movie theater. My husband wasn't able to add this to our Samsung remote so we have to use both remotes which is a nuisance. (Even searched online and still couldn't figure it out.) Bose remote is ridiculously large. Otherwise, we love this system. Great value!

Is great but i think is missing bluetooth connectivity, I think works great for videos of music but for some reason can't completely like it about regular tv sound

I continue to be amazed at the sound quality produced by such a small compact speaker. Plenty of bass for those that desire it.

I was able to buy this for $349 at Christmas. This small speaker will blow out some amazing sound. And the bass, is awesome!!

Has a great sound. Used in a family room with low ceilings and it sounds great. You can understand speech and has great bass.

Enjoy British TV and dialogue/total sound is better

The setup was fairly easy and the sound production was awesome. I even used it for a mini-party in the house yea, it was that loud. Playing COD on PS4 will blow your mind with the sound quality of the Bose. If you want something very simple whole system, the cinemate 15 is the way to go but remember it doesn't come cheap.

Purchased this when the package was on sale, I replaced the Bose TV solo with this package. Overall better bass (theater effect) compared to the TV solo. Wish it was wireless enabled, come on Bose.

Sound is incredible with this system my only issue is the lack of Bluetooth other than that this little box packs a punch.

Love how clear and loud these speakers are. The base is amazing with action scenes. Highly recommend this.

BOSE like always does its job. Great sound quality! Draw back...need to use its remote can't program it with tv remote.
