They do a great job at providing great sound without being heard from those around you. In addition they are easy to hear others while using. The only con I can think of is the battery life though good will require daily charging.

These sunglasses are great. They are lightweight, very reasonably priced, and stylish to point. I did have to buy new lenses because I didn’t like the ones that came with the glasses. I bought the blue ones and it was a great big game changer, so much more that I bought the pink polarized ones and the clear ones. The only down fall about these glasses would be the sound. It’s not very loud even with the volume all the way up. The only way you can really clearly hear in true Bose fashion is if you put your hands over your ears. Don’t get me wrong, you can hear fine, just not what I would expect from Bose. They are very convenient and light weight and fun.

The sound is pretty good, limited bass, connection is very simple with or without the Bose connect app. I’m a sunglasses fanatic, these leave a lot to be desired. The Alto’s are way to big, the Rondo’s, a bit too small.

Advice: Get Geek Squad Insurance. Sadly not durable. My Frames broke while closing it (How?) I could only turn it on while the frame was closed and once I opened it I lost bluetooth connection and could not turn it on when the frames was open. Too bad Bose did not take time field test these things.The mic and the sound is great(Depending on the music),The interchangeable lenses is a plus, Battery life you wish it was longer and wish they sold extra charge cables. But disapointed how fragile it is. Got a replacement but I'm going be more carefull handling this one next time. Maybe next gen will be better.

Of course you hope Bose automatically means great sound, well it's true with these glasses. Fit very well, stay tight to your head, can buy different colored lenses which easily pop in, and SOUNDS GREAT.

Great job by Bose. Easy to use, excellent sound and a good looking pair of shades with UV protection. Several of my buddies are looking to make the purchase after hearing the audio on these babies!

The clarity and frequency range of the audio is amazing! You really don’t want to take them off. I have been wearing them indoors around the house and shopping! Charge is quick with included cord. Lasts at least 3 hours. I purchased the round Rondos as well as the traditional frame and the Rondo frames are definitely a tad smaller in width, they do not slide down any adult’s nose that has tried them. The others are a bit wider and do slip on some faces when you bend over ( men and women). Only 4 stars because probably out of necessity the frames are not totally fashionable, but the sound and the lenses both work exactly as they should. My 21 yo nephew loved his as a gift as well.

I love this glasses. Love the sound and clarity, I just hope that the battery will last more. I also have the sports and their battery last a lot longer.

Amazing sound comes from the arms of these sunglasses. The sunglasses look better on me than I expected. I jog with the sunglasses and they don't move around/fall off!

They are comfortable, stylish, and they work really well. Only problem is the battery life is awful. it says it lasts 3 hours but mine haven't last a full hour once yet.

I love this sunglasses. Very stylish and also great sound for my music. I wear it everytime I go outside gardening or just being on the beach with my family.

I don’t always want noise canceling, and sometime I just want to take a light stroll on the beach without having to suit up with all the essentials like it’s a run. I can walk out the door with my sunglasses and put my phone in my back pocket. Perfect sound to get you vibin’ but doesn’t just complete block your reality to what’s going on around you. I walk across streets, etc (PCB, FL >> so not city life distractions, but still need to be aware) and I feel that I know what’s going on around me while still jamming out. Bought my brother a pair too and he’s obsessed

Come on.. they’re sunglasses made by Bose... the sound is impressive for being hidden in your sunglasses.. making and receiving calls on them suck though, unless you’re in a soundproof room.. styling kinda stinks.. they should’ve teamed up with a fashion designer though instead of just winging it. They’d be fine if it was 1989 or something like that... but it’s 2020, so buy them for sound while on the go, but definitely not for style and neither for phone calls

Bose does it again. Unbelievable sound with stylish shades. These sun glasses have UV protection, look great and produce Bose quality sound. Love this product.

THE BREAKDOWN: The Bose Frames caught me by surprise. They really deliver on sound. I thought the sound was excellent and balanced as expected from Bose. If you're looking for extreme bass then this product is not for you. Most of my friends and family were surprised at how loud they can get. I do think they after the volume hits 70 percent it does kind of sound distorted. The side arms appear bulky but really don’t feel heavy on your face or become uncomfortable over time. At first I thought that everyone around me would be able to hear my music or phone conversations but they really don’t allow that much sound to get out of your personal space. They worked very well for making calls, I was able to hear people clear and without distortion and and they were able to hear me just fine. I tested this and the music function on several 3-5 mile runs as well as at work. The AR function is really neat. Bose really did a great job in making this feel immersive. The AR functioned like it was intended to do. It was able to track and make responses on my head movements and by my voice. Overall, they did a great job on making this work. All I can say is give it a try for yourself. The fit for me on the Rondo’s was a little tight as I have a large head the Alto’s are larger and may have fit me a little better. It took some time to get used to the placement of the power button as I kept hitting it when taking them off. The button features worked as intended and I really like the auto off after 2 seconds when you lay them upside down. Battery life isn’t great. I got about 3 hours and 20 minutes consistently of usage. Also, it took about 2 hours to charge them. PRO’s: -Great sound for a small package -Frames don’t feel heavy -Very little sound leakage past your immediate area -Awesome for calls or music -Easy to pair CON’s: -Battery life isn’t great -Lenses are not Polarized -Cannot get a prescription lens without voiding the warranty -Charging cable is not universal SUMMARY: If you are in the market for something in this line them these are it! I love the ease of use and the sound quality that was delivered here by Bose. I also enjoyed using the Bose AR and look forward to what comes next within the AR field. Keep up the good work Bose and I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking for something like this.

I love the way the sound is directed perfectly to my ear with a quality expected of Bose products. I especially love being able to control volume etc from my Apple Watch too. Quality of the lenses are high, and changing the lenses are easy too. I wish these came with a clear lens and I would use them for teleconferencing too. Phone sound quality is great and doesn’t have a lot of background noise as the call recipient.

I was very iffy about purchasing a pair since at the time when I first heard about them it was only available for online preorder only. Suddenly I walked into my Best Buy store in Pasadena and there they were on display for my eyes. I chose the round ones over the classic square since I have plenty of square sunglasses as it is. Anywho the sound quality is good. The frames themselves are very stylish. They are very sensitive frames. Disconnects when flipped which is me at to do that so it’s just a matter of time of getting used to.

I was happily amazed by the rich sound, without blasting your ears out and yet still giving you the music in the room feeling. The look is cool and everyone needs to wear sun glasses. Getting sound too is a bonus well worth the price. The wireless connection (bluetooth) to my iphone is strong and so easy to turn on and off. My only complaint is that they are a little bit small for me. I haven't tried to adjust them yet. I love to have music with me everywhere I go and I will get a lot of use from these glasses.

Being a big Bose guy, when I first saw these on the BB website they had to be checked out. Actually there was low expectations for sound from the size of normal size sunglasses, by which these are. To my surprise they did pack a decent sound with more than adequate volume range. In no way did I expect to keep these sunglasses. Since then I have ordered/received the blue lens and am happy with them entirely. The reality is that you CAN’T expect boom box sound and volume. For what they do, these were more than adequate.
