I love these earbuds! Great sound even before you turn in noise cancelling. Once you do active the noice cancelling it's like it's just you and the music.

These things are simply amazing. The sound is better than any 'beats' headphone AND if you just want peace and quiet, simply put the noise canceling feature on and go to sleep. Thank you Bose for another perfect piece of equipment!

My wife and I enjoy these on international flights. We can still hear announcements but the jet engines are drowned out. They work well with the entertainment systems in equipped airplanes.

Air travel and I used the head set and they preformed great.

It used to be most ear buds were all kind of the same sound quality. These are definitely the best I've ever listened to music with. Big difference.

These headphones help me keep the volume down and still drown out the loud annoying people at work. Also when walking on a busy city street they cancel out the car noise and I don't need the volume as high.

Excellent product and great sound. Unfortunately, this is for an android phone and not an apple. Bose is exchanging the unit, at no cost.

Amazing sound quality. Music sounds great, audio is clear. The noise canceling feature makes a huge difference in the listening experience.

Good noise canceling in a compact in ear form factor. The battery pack and be a little awkward and therefore does not get a 5 star rating. The over ear variety provides better noise canceling, but takes up a lot more room which can be a premium while traveling.

The noise cancelling is awesome and the sound is what you expect from Bose. The only downside I have, if you call it a downside, is the noise cancelling device attached to the headphones is weighty. Maybe it could be moved but then again that maybe would not help. If that could be fixed I would give it a 5 star.

Great for canceling wind and engine type noises. Voices you will still hear. I blame that on the lose fitting ear tips. The kind of rest in your ear and dont seal like some good foam eartips do. Its weird at first but easy to get used to. I would purchase again . Use weekly on my airline travels. Great sound .

Since I travel over 24 hours in a couple of days on planes getting sleep is great. I fall asleep listening to my music and Cabin noises don't wake me up so I arrive much more rested. These really work.

Good noise cancellation technology, and the sound quality is very good, UNTIL you compare these with the Audio-Technica Solid Bass CKS1100's. The bass and the clarity of these earphones are clearly subpar when compared to those earphones; I bought them at the same time to do an extensive comparison. Also, the noise cancellation can sometimes feel like they are sucking my brains out (the vacuuming? effect of the noise cancellation?). And I really do not like the blue accent on the cords (makes the overall beautiful design a little tad bit childish) or the cheap nylon pouch (the Audio-Technica's provided a more mature, minimalistic design with an all-black leather case).

These headphones sound great and really do a good job of cancelling the surrounding noise. The only issue is the right phone occasionally squawks loudly if not sitting just right in my ear. Took some trial and error to figure out how far to put it in for the best results. Other than that, they are great!

The earbud worked as advertised but the price tag was not worth it for me.

Purchased the bose quietcomfort 300 headphones. Worked absolutely great on a seven hour flight to Europe. It was great for listening to music or blocking out all extraneous noise. Definitely worth it!

Love these, just wish the cord wasn't so long, and that the canceling button was smaller

Big fan of bose. Great sound. Power switch allows for amazing noise cancelling. Earphones don't have to be powered on for regular sound. Would recommend!

If you need a lightweight in the ear pair of headphones, these are great! I love my over the ear, but the wife doesn't like to mess up her hair, so these are perfect and also rechargeable.
