I had originally bought the Bose Smart Soundbar out of a need to have some more powerful and clear music, voice and sound control. On a side note getting older sometimes sucks. This fits the bill in more ways than one. I went back and bought the bass module and the rear surround sound speakers. Bose has served me well throughout the years and the premium items is creates are always welcome.

I was blown away by the sound. Everything just sounds great, no adjustments necessary. Movies sounded amazing and that dialogue enhancement actually works. Good for small room. The ATMOS effect was just okay but I don't think you can get that great ATMOS unless you invest in much more expensive system. Ultimately I returned it because I wanted something with rear surrounds. But if you want a soundbar without rear speakers than this is a great. I would have kept it but wanted the rears.

I have so many Bose products that this was no brainer for me. But this little soundbar has impressed more than I expected!! Such incredible sound coming from such a compact soundbar. I love that it connects via WiFi so you can stream sound right to it.

It is over all very clear and good sound bar. However, twice i had to unplug and replug in the device because it wouldnt send out sound for some reason

The soundbar is very easy to connect to the TV - an eARC HDMI cable and a power cable and that's it. The TV detects the soundbar and all is setup. The sound produced is a definite improvement on the Samsung TV speakers - better depth, tone and clarity but it's not a huge difference. Overall I am pleased to have found an easy remedy to get very reasonable TV sound.

Great soundbar with clear sound. When paired with the Bose 500 subwoofer and surround speakers the sound is comparable to be in a movie theatre.

Its a great product. Sleek design, very seamless to integrate to your home wifi. Reasonably powerful too even without the subwoofer system. It really depends on how close you are to the speaker. If you live in an apartment, its just perfect. For a big house, we may need the woofer and maybe a more powerful product. Sound clarity could be an issue especially when transitioning from loud music to dialogues during movies.

I enjoy using this product. The sound is crystal clear. TV speakers are not sufficient. You to increase the volume for quite a bit to understand conversations clearly. Not for the Bose soundbar.

The smart soundbar works well in my living room that has a tall pitched ceiling. I could not make sense of the sounds coming out of my TV without the Bose soundbar. Thanks to Matt and the Geek Squad team for an excellent installation.

easy set up I bought the bose 700 sound bar back when and it was a pretty glitchy set up now they really upgraded there software and is a good setup with great sound especially with the height channel and center channel

Purchased as a gift. I contacted my friend a few weeks later after replacing his LG soundbar with this Bose. He’s really enjoying his Bose system that includes a Bose 500 subwoofer. He always wanted a Bose system. Thanks Bose for making his dream a reality. He now saving to purchase Bose rear speakers. I would recommend this system for anyone looking to purchase a soundbar/ subwoofer for a small or medium size room. For a larger room I recommend the smart soundbar/ sub 700 with Bose 700 rear speaker.

Decent TV speakers used in a small room for the price you pay. However, it lacks bass and depth if you are using this for music. Also it looks sleek and doesn't take up too much room. Set up was straightforward. In the one month I've used this soundbar, it disconnected from TV once. Fingers crossed that was an anomaly.

I wanted a soundbar to provide better sound quality from what is provided by the TV. I went to the Best Buy in Woodland and spoke with an associate. I explained what I needed and he patiently went through features of the various soundbars and offered a suggestion that this device might best fit my needs. He was absolutely correct and I would recommend this item.

It’s well worth the money and sound great. It has 5 speakers that are crystal clear, however, I returned it and purchased the Bose Ultra Smart Soundbar, simply because it’s in a large room in a house not condo or townhouse. I will get another for my bedroom when I get around to setting the audio up in that room. Bose is truly the best of the best (IMHO) and when I initially started shopping for one, it was Bose or Sonos, but because of the WiFi issue with Sonos (area out of service), it renders it useless. But I’ve had Bose most of my adult life, so it was a very easy choice.

This product fits the bill of being just enough for someone who need just a bit more than the TV speakers.

I bought this smaller sound bar, it sounded great but knew it could be better. So I got the bigger sound bar.. but if you are looking for great quality sound for half the price, but half the sound. I would definitely suggest this bar..

it's ok but it didn't meet my expectations of a sound bar, especially from Bose; I can't tell where it's on or not. I don't see a light that displays whether or not it's on.

This soundbar is my second Bose speaker. Setup was very easy and quick. I have a TV and a CD player connected to it. The sound is rich and clear. I do agree with the one criticism I read which is that the sound could use more depth to it. For me, this is a minor complaint. The soundbar was a great deal at Best Buy.

Sound quality was nice and the size is nice for small spaces. It gets loud. Only downside is the remote. The app is easy to set up too.
