We went to Best Buy and got help from a really wonderful salesman. He showed us different sound bars but ultimately we chose to spend the extra money and get the Bose. We couldn’t be happier with our purchase and have recommended it to several friends.

Was a great addition. The sound is great for action movies and even with out an additional base speaker it fills the room with rich bases. every seat in the living room can no hear dialogue without needing to turn the tv's speakers to 40.

Not what I thought!

The sound bars performance is great for its intended function...to amply the sound from your tv. It is not intended to dilever a room full of bass...or any bass at all. I returned it and went with the Sonos beam.
