    This sound bar has exceptional sound quality. However, the lack of a power button on the unit made it difficult to turn on when I couldn't find the remote. The universal remote also didn't power on my DirecTV DVR. All that said the sound was crisp, clean and had good low ends.

    The Soundbar definitely does the job. It provides solid base for when you're watching movies and tv shows. It also allows you to play music wirelessly (but still being plugged into the wall). I just wish it could be a bit louder but I understand they are going for quality of sound over loudness

    This Bose Solo 5 was a great purchase to add a better speaker setup than just the TV. I have a nice 5.1 set up for the main tv, but needed a quick, but good sounding option, for the secondary tv. This was a great choice. Just 2 cords and hooked up! I even take it to the RV when we go. Can hear the tv very well now.

    its been more than a month, using bose sound bar, i was looking for a sound bar small and effective, Pros it has good base required,option to hear the audio/dialogue clearly, definitely happy with the purchase. Cons: no controls on the sound bar, i.e you need remote for everything. either bluethooth or tv can be connected at a time not both.but thats ok.

    I bought this to improve the sound quality on my Sony 40in TV. I wanted better clarity for the spoken words, as opposed to music. The dialogue mode does improve the sound quality but only a very very little bit. I was really hoping for more of an improvement. So it is better than just using the sound system of the TV alone but it's not a whole lot better.
