Ok for use in a kids room

We called Bose and they really weren’t very helpful specifically they told us the remote didn’t work for every device despite the fact the device being listed on their listed devices.

I wish it would have work with my cable remote but wouldn't so I had to use the one that came with the Soundbar but still had to use the cable remote also . I would have giving it a higher rating if I didn't have to use 2 remotes to make everything work!

We're sorry to hear that you were unable to get this tow work with your cable remote, and have had to use both interchangeably.
We would advise that you look into the usage of the Soundbar remote instead. The remote for this Soundbar is a universal remote of its own, and after setting this up, is capable of controlling many TV's, cable-boxes, and other devices.
This would still allow you to use a single remote to control all of your other devices, but would be using the Soundbar remote instead of the cable-box remote. If you're unsure how to achieve this, please get in touch with Bose Support in your country/region for further assistance.
