I was a little underwhelmed by the quality of the sound. Don't get me wrong, it is not bad, but not great like I had expected from Bose.

It does ok. But, the volume can't go loud enough for a larger room. It's ok for hearing conversations, but doesn't project background sounds that you would expect to hear in movies.
