I own the original Bose Solo and love the fact that in addition to front firing speakers, they have two that fire to the sides. The effect is like surround sound. You hear sounds that seem to come from directions where there are no speakers.

playback contains an overabundance of bass relative to treble - - with little ability to adjust - - the higher range output is swallowed-up.

I bought this to pair with a 50" Samsung TV, I was very pleased with the sound quality, deep bass sounds and clear speech. It's a really nice sound bar if you want something sleek and simple. I have it in a decent sized apartment living room, so I was not wanting something crazy loud with a lot of watts, just good crisp sound. Setup was a breeze, didn't even need to look at the directions to plug things in and get it going. Perfect match with a Samsung in my experience. Synchs easily with the TV and you can use your TV remote to adjust volume. So if you want a simple and discreet sound bar I think this is the winner, and for $250 it's a good deal.

Good sound. Somewhat small for a largeer tv soundbar. Bluetooth is not great for hooking to a tv. For tv you have to use the digital optical cable for best performance. Can bluetooth to other devices

Not the usual quality w/ BOSE that I was expecting. The dialogue button must be pushed everytime you power up and the sound quality was not at all what I anticipated

Not what I expected it was going to sound like. Sound is good for a small bedroom, but not for living room that I bought it for. A little pricey for a good sound that sounds beat in a bedroom.

I bought this in August, and it's now November and it's already stopped working as it should. The bass isn't there anymore, and the sounds cuts in and out. Disappointed in this Bose product. I guess I should have just paid more for a better one.

I am disappointed in the fact that I have to wait 1 minute to get the sound from the TV to the sound bar. The salesperson did not tell us about this. BUT for $150.00 I can buy a dandy remote that will take care of this. Not in this lifetime.

Bought the Bose soundbar because of reviews and reputation. However the sound was not what I expected. The volume has to be turned up pretty high to get the dialogues and I didn't get the quality I wanted. It's ok for a soundbar.

It is now just under 2 years old and has stopped working. Took it to geek squad and it’s going to cost $275 to repair it. For that we’re just going to purchase a new one. Not sure I would purchase this again.

We took back this one for another one the sound was not as good.So we got another one and took the one back as we needed a receiver. Our one receiver was bad for our surround sound.
