Bought flat screen TV in February and purchased protection plan and had Geek Squad install television. Television was set up through my TV remote. Purchased soundbar in August and paid $50 to have it installed. People who came were not the Geek Squad but a third party entity. They insisted over my objections to set everything up through my Comcast remote. Also they installed soundbar IN BACK of the television. I had trouble turning TV on, and if I could get it on I had no sound. Also I could not adjust the bass. Went back the next day to Best Buy on McKnight Road, Pittsburgh PA, and talked to the manager who was very nice and accommodating. Someone from the actual Geek Squad came out at no extra charge that afternoon and rearranged some things, showed me how to adjust the bass, and TV appeared to be working fine until that night when I went to turn it off. Instead of powering off it goes to a blue screen - it actually does not completely turn off. Needless to say, this has not been a good experience and I am sorry I ever bought a soundbar. My television overall worked better without it.

I recently purchase this item yesterday but was not to happy with it once I set it up. I purchase this sound bar for my bedroom since the tv speakers aren’t to loud and wanted something not over the edge but at least something that’ll allow me to hear the tv without cranking the volume up all the way. Well for this sound bar I had to do just that. I had to crank the volume all the way and even than the sound was barely load enough. My tv can still be heard louder than the sound bar if I cranked the volume up more. Again wasn’t looking for something theatre like but when the tv audio still sounds better then this, there’s something wrong in this picture. Will be returning this today and possibly spending a bit more for a higher end sound bar to use for my living room and swapping my old one to my bed room.

To do this simply point the remote at the system and press and hold the mute button until the system indicator blinks orange 3 times, this means that the mode is on. I installed this soundbar 1 year and 4 months ago. I came home from work, no power. I tested the power supply, and then did the recommended "plug and unplug" stuff they recommended. I was told by Bose out of warranty, you would think something like this would have a 3 year warranty. I almost bought a better one to replace it, but decided on a 40 dollar one from wally world. The sound quality from it is almost as good as this Bose that cost 160 more. If I have to throw it out in a year I won't mind. Never again Bose, you didn't even offer me a board to buy to fix it.

Not the best sound bar on the market for a bedroom, look to a Samsung with a subwoofer if your okay spending 200+ on a speaker set. I returned this and purchased the Sonos Beam and I am blown away at the difference in sound quality, array and base. You will be disappointed like I was with this bose product. I had high hopes from Bose but stay away from this made in China junk.

Sounds good. I don't like that when I connect it bluetooth or wireless it cuts out little at first then constantly.... you would here little music then pause music pause music longer pause etc. However connected with wire to TV works good but sometimes it doesn't keep up with TV and mouths move but we hear it a few seconds later. Overall yes good sound just hate the other stuff...
