For such a long time, I wasn't able to hear a TV conversation, unless I cranked the sound to the max. Bose came up with Sollo 5, which is a little more affordable than the 10 and the 15. I just purchased it, and, I now can enjoy listening and watching this TV of mine. The set-up is 1-2-3, within seconds. Solo 5 is a great alternative to an expensive surround sound and this one works perfectly for me. I always thought that Bose was great, and, it is proven again.

Bought this as a gift for my husband mainly because the brand has a good rep. Highly disappointed. Hooked it up to his phone and tv and the sound was horrible and wasn't even loud. The tv was louder than this system! Returned it.

I purchased the Bose Solo 5 today. It was very easy to set up with only a power cable and digital cable. I could tell right away there was a huge improvement from the TV speakers. The bass is easy to adjust and there is a dialogue button that turns the bass off when it isn't needed. The bass doesn't have the power of a separate sub woofer but living in an apartment I don't need it to shake the walls. The remote is cool. It's about and inch longer than a standard DirecTV remote. It was simple to program and now controls my Sharp TV and DirecTV receiver. It turns both and the soundbar on/off at the same time and controls everything on the DirecTV receiver ( Menu, channel guide, DVR, channel up/down) Pairing the Bose Solo 5 with my blue tooth device was also simple. I put on some IHeart radio and the Bose sound really came through. It was awesome! The only problem I've had is when I disconnected the blue tooth, the sound bar continued searching for a connection and I couldn't get it to return to TV sound. I had to turn it off and back on. I'm sure this is operator error. It looks great and sounds great. Very happy with my purchase!

Couldn't even try it as I bought it open box and there was no power cord. When. I returned it, they pointed out that it was marked on the box that the power cord was missing. I was confused as tomany they would sell it without it.

Bose soindbar cable

After opening the box and connect the tv and Bose soundbar we found out that cable is damaged and had no sound, I tested with a usb cable and it worked, I need to go back to Best Buy to exchange the light cable, I hope Best Buy exchange it
