    Quality of audio is very poor. Volume control is very poor and there is no way no know the volume levels and it requires too many presses to increase or decrease the volume

    Remote will turn on and off sometimes. Then it does nothing and you to unplug from power reset???? I guess. Still no using.

    Sounds good in store when I was checking it out.Got it home hooked it up did not reach my expectations for a Bose product took it back and replaced it with a Samsung sound bar and sub.

    Does NOT pair with Dish Hopper

    I even had the Dish service tech attempt to pair it, I called Bose Tech Support, and finally had to give up (short of using two remotes).

      Thank you for reaching out for help on this. Some Dish boxes use RF instead of IR and you may see a setting to switch this. Go to Settings > Remote > and make sure that IR is Enabled. Bose

    unless you cranked up the volume, not much better than TV speakers, sadly. The dialogue mode is nice but not worth the money. Better sound bars are available for less money

    This was the worst BOSE experience I have ever experienced. The sound was so bad I was shocked. I expected better quality from BOSE. Disappointed.

    This has got to be the worst Bose speaker ever. The tiny tv speakers are louder. I brought it back for a refund. Don't waste your time of money on this one

    Way too many options for a soundbar! You will need to re-sync soundbar constantly. Poor quality for the high price.

    I bought this speaker because of the universal remote that came with it. I cannot program the remote; therefore, it is useless. I could do without the speaker.

    I was very disappointed in this sound system. It cut out frequently and sound quality when it did work was not up the Bose standard.

    I was hoping for for a richer experience (similar to our Bose Sound link speaker). The Solo 5 speaker volume did not equal the TV built in speakers.

      Thank you for trying out our Solo 5 system. If you are experiencing low volume on the system, the first troubleshooting step would be to look at the cable box. It likely has a variable output and we'll want to bring that volume up to about 90%. There may also be an audio setting on the cable box to set the audio output to "fixed". This is different from the television volume itself. If you'd like help with that, we have experienced techs on hand to walk you through this. You can reach us at 1-800-379-2073.     It has got very good clarity but very degrade quality low bass. I really won’t suggest anyone should go with this soundbar.

    The volume is not loud does not matter the method I connect. Buy a Sonos it is 10Xs louder.

    We have had a Bose system in our home for 15 yrs. so we expected this to be great. Well we were VERY disappointed and returned it the next day
