In need of this and purchased it. Pretty handy. We use it at home, office and at church on different occasions. Its size is good to carry.

I received this little gem as a Christmas Gift. I had been thinking about buying a set of speakers from Logitech,,,,the UE BOOM. I like the sound of the BOSE Soundllink color speaker when it is close up. I can easily pair it with any of the systems I choose as a host. It is nicely portable, recharges quickly and can play continuously for hours. The disadvantage is in the fact that it cannot be paired with another BOSE Soundlink speaker to obtain a heightened stereo effect. The stereo separation appears to be limited to the two inches separating the left and right channel speakers. The fidelity is there to hear, but I am sorry to say that there is quite a bit of music that really needs to be heard with more separation between the right and left channel speakers. With little or no distance in channel separation, the BOSE Soundlink keeps music as a pinpoint source of sound... much like a mono radio. I do plan on keeping this speaker because it is useful and does sound good when it is in an small room, but I think I will be purchasing those UE BOOMS sometime soon to fill in the larger areas of the house and outdoor patio areas.

Works at a great distance. It's small size allows it to be moved easily. Despite its small size, it has a great sound. A real bargain for the price.

So I bought this thinking BOSE! how can I go wrong? Weeeeell it's not as great as I thought it would be. I connect my iPhone to it and honestly it's just not really that loud in my opinion and I thought the music would be a little bit clearer than it actually is. I give it 3 stars because it is super easy to set up and use, the design and color are super cute in my opinion, and it's nice and portable and for its size I feel pretty light weight to carry if u have to.

Great speaker but not as great as the Bose sound link mini. Personally, I could tell the significant difference in the volume level between the Sound link mini and the sound link color. For the price it isn't bad, but if you can, id recommend splurging and going for the sound link mini

While, I have enjoyed the bluetooth of this product, I have several Bose products and they usually have a more substantial bass, which I prefer. At this point, I am not sold on this product. I will continue to use it over the next week to determine if it will make the cut.

Bought this device thinking I could use to have a louder alarm clock. unfortunately sound was going through phone not speaker when you set an alarm even if connected via bluetooth or aux. Great sound though, great price.

I love the sound of Bose so I thought this would be a great speaker for my classroom. Problem was if I walked any distance away the connection started to crackle. The sound was super, I just couldn't walk away from the speaker-kind of the whole point of being bluetooth

I bought this use as main sound system for a small den with output from my Mac's iTunes library. The sound is great but connecting to the Bluetooth is cumbersome to say the least.

Purchased for kids and found that was good for small room but once tried in larger family room found volume only good turned to about 50%. You hear static and lose some bass as you try to crank all the way up.

I bought this for my son. Love the compact size, you can take this anywhere. But I really expected more from a Bose speaker, it's not very load and the wifi connection has a lot of interference.

This speaker (at least mine) starts cutting out and losing Bluetooth connectivity at around 15 feet. The maximum volume level is weak and I'm an old guy, so that says a lot.

The Boss Sounlink Color is made to compete with the other brands in its market. It's great for portability on the job or for vacation. I wanted something with a little bit more power to enjoy my music so I returned it and got the Bose Soundlink 3 which is amazing. The major turn off for me with the soundlink color is that with any songs that has multiple instruments it kind of blends together too much. Making it hard to listen, thus why exchanged for the soundlink 3. If you want really premium sound, go with the soundlink 3. The soundlink 2 also sounds great. The soundlink color is great as well, just not for everything or everyone.

This speaker is very easy to use with marginal sound. Bass & treble adjustment controls would do wonders for this speaker. Battery life is good. Small enough to carry around or hide.

It's compact and travels well, I wouldn't use it outside. I was expecting a richer sound experience from a Bose product very little bass.

Has great sound and battery lasts for awhile. The only problem is the charging port breaks easily. We've already had to replace it once.

Very happy with how long this speaker holds a charge. Loud and clear... I'm very happy with this product.

I bought 2 Bose wireless speakers for Christmas gifts. So far one has worked great. The other one worked great for 2 weeks. After that it would not charge. Took it back to the store and they tried to get it to work. Best Buy agreed it was a faulty speaker and exchanged it for a new one. I bought the Bose because of it's reputation and was very surprised this happened. The sound is very good for a wireless speaker and was easy set up.

I choose this unit based upon BOSE name and the anticipated battery life. Im not sure if it was an issue with unit or otherwise, but my batter life was on average about 3 hours. Consulting with Bose that recommended to return the item. I had high hopes that this would end my search for a great sound, durable construction(which it does have) and long battery life, but the search continues.

Charging port is weak and I can tell won't last long ..bummer other than that great
