Terrible Customer Service
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones might sound great, but we wouldn't know. Despite two days' work, my husband (an IT guy, BTW) has only managed garbled sound in them from my son's gaming PC. From what I've read, the problem is that he is running Windows 10. These headphones don't run properly on Windows 10! What on Earth?!? I'd have called customer support, but they're only available from 8-6 on weekdays (read: the time when I am working and not able to call customer service). We had the misfortune to buy these on a Saturday. There's "troubleshooting" pages on this issue on the Bose site, but none of them got the job done. We scoured the internet, searched Bose and Windows communities, YouTube videos, and anything else we found. No dice. Extremely disappointed to have wasted so much time and money on these.

Bad Advice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased an OLED smart TV from Best Buy and wanted wireless headphones to use with it. The sales person advised me that these headphones were Bluetooth enabled and work better with the TV than the Bose headphones I selected. When I got home they did not work. When I returned them the next associate told me they were not Bluetooth and there actually are no Bluetooth units that work with a TV. Two wasted trips.

Don't waste your time
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Long story short, don't buy these. I am a HUGE supporter of Bose, but someone @ Bose dropped the ball on in the headphones department. I tried 3 headphones... bought, tried @ home, returned 2/3. Sadly the typically amazing Bose is pathetic re:headphones. Both Bose I tried would not get loud, I even googled this issue & found blogs others with same issue. I even changed my iPhone settings to attempt increasing sound/volume, no help. Apparently you can try resetting & jump through hoops, which I have no time or patience for as when you pay this much $$, One should have that instantly. I still love my Bose speaker to pieces, however the headphones flat out stink.

Terrible Quality! Don't Buy! You've Been Warned!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought three pairs. Two like this (black with blue trim) have peeling rubber that is stretched and wont go back. Charging port broke on one pair. one pair has hard time connecting. The third pair that was white& tan has no problems. bought feb 2018. Didn't last two years Bose says too bad, they are out of warranty but will sell new ones at discounted price $150.00 if I send back old broken ones. Probably refurbish and sell to you. Look at reviews online about the rubber peeling it's a known defect.

No Bass for Music
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ended up returning this for the QC35 II Wireless Headphones. Even though the headphones feel like they are well built. The sound quality was terrible. Had no bass, all treble. Probably good for talking over the phone but for the price I expected a lot more.

Not the Bose I remember
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've recently purchased these for my fiance as a birthday gift, I've never had issues with Bose in the past just amazing sound quality, and design never really mattered to me, but for some reason these headphones despite all the different attempts, sound muffled and just GENERIC, even the Mic she will call me from downtown Chicago with them, and its sounds barely inderstandable to the point she just uses her phone instead, really with Bose. I'm not sure if this product is the result of cutting costs for more profit, or if they have just fell off in terms of high end headphones, but truly disappointing.

Very disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was really excited about purchasing the Bose headphones but my excitement was short lived. The sound quality is so bad. The music makes sense only on the highest volume level. And middle level it performs horribly bad. Not at all worth the money and Bose brand.

Not Worth The Price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Within three weeks of owning this product the right ear started to cut out the audio. In addition, the sound quality is sub-par for a bose product, failing to deliver the rich sound the name has become synonymous for, and below the quality of supposedly inferior brands. Best Buy would not replace after their 15-day return policy unless I had bought their expensive "warranty" so I won't be giving them any more of my business.

Disappointing Sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones really don't reproduce the sound very well. They lack substance, there is very little base and very little treble. The only reason they have one star is that they are very easy to use. They connect to bluetooth quickly ad easily.

CHEAP CRAP, WARNING DO NOT BUY BOSE!!!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The worst decision I’ve ever made at Best Buy was buying these cheap pieces of crap, I opened the box and saw what they looked like and said, “I’ll never, never, buy Bose crap, ever again!” I felt insulted staring at these headphones for the ten to twenty seconds I did, I knew I had to return these and warn all others to avoid this or any other Bose product. Warning, Bose won’t provide anything of quality, sadly your only buying the name Bose, there really is no product, it’s all a lie, it’s just a brand, there’s no quality, and there’s no real product. Avoid Bose from now on!!!!

Posted .Hey, it's a shame to hear that you've not enjoyed your listening experience with these headphones.
From personal experience, low volume has not been an issue. Have you tried connecting them to an alternative device? Additionally, is this the case when connected via the audio cable and Bluetooth?
I'd also recommend ensuring the latest firmware update is installed. You can do this by visiting https://btu.bose.com on your computer and following the instructions.

Sound Hollow and Difficult to Hear All Tones
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They sound terrible, hollow and I have a really hard time even hearing some tones. I bought these for my husband and I guess he didn’t want to complain to me. I used them myself and noticed the terrible quality (we’ve never had a problem with Bose before). I would return or exchange them, but the return period was over 10 days ago.

Defective within months.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked these up a few months ago and they were working fine, I took care of them, used the carrying case included, never dropped. And then all of a sudden the left ear speaker went out and and I can’t hear the automated voice in the other ear. Very confused considering I don’t have the volume all the way up ever. I’ve contacted their customer support with no answer whatsoever. I can’t reccomend these headphones even if I wanted to, given my situation.

Piece of trash.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really poor sound, and you cannot chosen differents quality effects, the app is a waste, you cannot control anything with their app, nothing of privacy, with the haft volume every one by you side can hear everything, cero privacy!! In definition i don't recommend to any one to buy this piece of junk.

not worth the money
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The cord does not have an integrated mic. The mic on the headphone is worthless, you have to turn the volume of the call up to max so that the other person can hear you while you becoming deaf. The sound quality is ok. The Bluetooth connection is as regular as any other... I thought I was buying bose (deluxe premium quality) NOT!
