This Speaker sounds awesome, I never expected such a Great Bass, clear sound from this small size speaker, In my first use it gave me 8 Hrs Battery Life. Connects flawless to my 3 Devices easily, works good as TV Soundbar, Function button is very useful. My son has Beats & Bose Headphones, he told Bose Sound Quality is better.

As a road warrior, I like to pack light but with impact. I've blown a few cheap blutooth speakers over the last few years. I think this one, although ten times the price of some, is so far, the best one ever. My last assignment put me in a large gymnasium with a staff lots of people. This think filled the room with high fidelity classical, and sometimes Hendrix, with no distortion nor hum, nor buzz. I've already bought one as a gift for my daughter-in-law. Among speakers, Bose is good. Among Bose, this one's good.

The Bose Soundlink Mini 2 is the second Bose I have bought. Obviously, the Mini 1 isn't that good, so I bought it, and tried it once, and then returned it because it didn't meet my expectation. However, the Mini 2 has a lot more improvements than the Mini 1 which makes me very like it. First of all, the battery like is a lot better than the previous edition, and I believe it is the one of the best in the class right now, for a small portable Bluetooth speaker, (I used to have a Sony Mini 2 as well, the battery life never met the official claimed 8 or 10 hours). Secondly, the sound feels a bit richer, the bass is deeper than the last generation. Third, the Bluetooth connection sometimes will have audio transit error, for example, you might hear nothing at the first few seconds after the Bluetooth is connected, and when the phone call is coming, the audio transit during the first few seconds also feels lag. I think it is only place the next generation needs to be improved. Overall, the new space black like color is more attractive than the silver colorway, but the silver is always the most classic color to be recognized as the premium product.

Great size and great sound. Very portable and easily to connect devices. I do wish there was a remote, but the sounds is fantastic.

Upgraded to this from the first gen mini. Bose stepped it up! Bass sounds a little deeper and on top of that: Battery- I've used it hours upon hours at work haven't had to recharge it since day of purchase... about a month ago now? Moderate ish use at I'd say maybe 33% max volume. Connectivity- take and hear calls on it, crystal clear. Interactive level - pause one click of media button. Skip song two clicks. Replay song 3 clicks. Overall phenomenal item! Only minor thing (don't judge me lol) is upon startup on Bluetooth every time it says "battery ___ percent" (love that part tells you how much battery you have left) "connected to blah blah smart phone blab blah" (don't love that part but by no means a deal breaker) Overall rating 9.99 out of 10. Only reason not a 10/10 is the annoying robotic connected to jingle everytime you connect it. Again minor personal thing. Would recommend over all others, especially to pair with the Indestructible case you can store it in. Awesome awesome awesome I love bose not much markup for the extra features, very reasonable.

I guess that I would say that this is great for a bluetooth speaker. The problem is, I have found that I am not a fan of the category in general. On the upside, once you get it playing, it sounds pretty decent for a monophonic speaker. Bass is not overdone and it is ok. On the downside, what I found was that every time I wanted to listen to it I had to go and turn it on (and wake it from sleep mode I guess) and that was not entirely convenient. As it is, if I want to wait, I can just go boot up my stereo and listen to much higher fidelity sound or I can just ask my Amazon Echo to play music or playlists from Pandora, Spotify or Amazon Prime Music and it does it with similar results in sound quality, I guess that leaves portability as the advantage of this Bose speaker and it is good for lugging around. I appreciate how they added a standard micro-usb for the charging cable from the old proprietary one and the new black finish is not bad. If portability is your top priority, and you are ok with the sound limitations of bluetooth, give this a shot. If portability is not a must have, buy some decent powered stereo speakers and a Chromecast Audio and enjoy better sound.

I purchased this speaker in order to stream music of various genres. I.e jazz, ambient, soft rock. I was very impressed with the sound quality from such a small speaker. Although speaker placement is very important...this little speaker can easily provided enough sound fill a fairly large area. One aspect of the speaker that I enjoy is the small compact size, which allows it to be packed and carried to the lake or simply placed on a patio table. The battery provides enough hours of uninterrupted music. Great job BOSE, with this speaker. I have had NO problems what so ever and would recommend this speaker to others.

I love my Bose speaker! It's lightweight and easily portable. The sound quality is great. Also it has great battery life!

Best Bluetooth speaker to Own. The Sound is crisp and clear. Even though the size is small, output from these speakers are great. You can feel the Music thru this. You can also answer calls received too. Battery holds for long time. Once you hear Music thru this, you would never go back to any other Portable Bluetooth speakers.

This is an awesome speaker. The sound is great, it's very portable, bass is perfect, and battery holds well. Other speakers have more bass that takes away from the music. I think this is perfect. The price is a bit higher than I would like, but I think it's worth it for other comparable speakers on the market.

I did a lot of research before purchasing a portable bluetooth speaker. Some of the lesser expensive models got good reviews, but it was the way the reviewers spoke about the Bose quality is what made me lean more in this direction. I went to my local Bose store to test the unit out, and I was very impressed with the sound quality, however, I was not amazed. It's hard to really get a good feel for an audio product when other customers are blasting music on different products around you in the store. I decided to take a gamble and purchase through Best Buy, based on the reviews and the extreme quality of the only other Bose product I own, a pair of Soundtrue headphones. Anyway, I got the Soundlink Mini II home, connected it to my phone, and was blown away. Not only is the connection excellent with my iPhone 6S Plus, but the audio quality was amazing. Great bass, highs, and mids. I mainly listen to rock/metal, and lately have been on a bit of a Black Label Society kick, and the metal sounds amazing though this little guy. I have since purchased other Bose products for my home based on how amazing this speaker sounds. I always heard Bose was an amazing high quality speaker, but always settled on cheaper stuff in the past. No more. You get what you pay for, and for such a music person like myself, I seek out what gives me amazing musical output. Can't go wrong with the Bose!

The SoundLink Mini Bluetooth II Speaker exceeds my expectations. It provides a deep rich sound - good connectivity, long lasting battery, and a great total value equation. I compared it to other makes and I chose Bose. I compared it to the next larger size from Bose and decided there was no reason to go "bigger" as the resulting sound was very similar. Get one...you can thank me later.

Easy to link up with multiple devices, including iPad and android phones. Excellent sound quality, remarkable bass considering such a small speaker. Battery is long lasting (approx 10 hours of play). Speaker is easy to transport. Have used speaker both on boat and in car to be able to listen internet radio.

BOSE Soundlink Mini - Fantastic sound, mobility and the envy of all without one. This sound system outweighs and out performs anything I've tried on the market. Well worth the investment. Unbelievable sound quality and so easy to connect with Bluetooth. Pandora has never sounded better ... and BOSE has never been known to catch fire ... unless the music is smokin' hot !!!

I was looking for a small portable Bluetooth speakers that sound great from low volume to medium. I work in a cubicle but hates having headphone and not be able to hear my surrounding. I get low volume with bass and the vocal are clear from low to mid without disturbing the next cube.

Great speaker. It makes listening to my fave podcasts and music easy! I do wish it had a remote. After a minute or two, if you haven't connected a device (iPad, smartphone) via bluetooth, you have to go and press the bluetooth button. I've found that for some reason it interferes with my Ring security surveillance notifications/video recording. I receive alerts on my phone when someone rings the doorbell or there is motion detected outside of my home. Along with the alerts, I can view the video. When I have my phone connected to the speaker, I lose video, but still receive the alert. It would be great if it came with a sleeve or protective cover with purchase. Kind of heavy. Other than those things, it's a great speaker, with excellent quality sound. I probably have gotten 8-10 hours of play between charges.

I own many different Bose products and really like them for their sound clarity and overall acoustic quality. This mini Bluetooth speaker has excellent bass response and sufficient volume to fill a room with loud sound! I like that it can also be used to answer my phone calls (although I must admit that I ignore calls when I'm listening to music.) The battery lasts long time (I've used it at least 8 hours on low volume and it was still going). I've read some reviews that the bass isn't as strong as some would like... if you place the speaker up near a wall, like on a shelf the bass response is enhanced because it uses the wall as part of the acoustic reflector to enhance the bass response. Consequently, if you place the speaker in the middle of a table the bass response may not be as strong as some would like, but overall, for the size of the main speaker drivers, the bass response is amazing. I am very pleased with my Bose Mini II speaker.
