Small but mighty! The sound is amazing. I wanted to buy a speaker system to use on the upper back patio of my home and my back yard. I wanted something with great volume and sound that also had great clarity. I looked at several brands to include Sonos, Sony, etc. but this little speaker blew all of them out the water. Is compact, yet loud and the clarity is amazing. The base is really nice too. It connects with ease to my iPhone. I used it for a BBQ and my guest couldn't believe how powerful it was. One loved it so much he went and bought one for himself. Needless to say, I definitely recommend it.

great portable speaker with great sound. Has a great bass and it's perfect to take it on the go. It's very well built and aesthetically looks nice as well- a very clean look. It connects to multiple devices at once and can switch automatically back and forth if you pause and play in another device.
The only reason it didn't get a five star for me is because of the port. This is prob the only speaker at this price point that continues to use micro USB port to charge. Very outdated. BOSS please update this!

This is my second one over the years. I really didn't expect the first one to last so long due to its outdoor use and abuse. This one has a few little upgrades, and I do enjoy listening to music wherever we go. As with the old one it will travel with me wherever we go. Fits in my backpack nicely for trips by plane or driving.
As far as sound quality I think it's fantastic. It seems to be a well-balanced speaker which does send the sound full circle. I do like putting the speaker in a corner or next to a wall, it seems to add a fuller sound and also more bottom end.
For a small speaker it definitely has plenty of volume. This speaker can really take a beating; heat and cold even rain doesn't bother it.

AMAZING SOUND AND BATTERY LIFE!

I must say i have owned Bose headphones but never a portable speaker by BOSE. The first thing i must say is the quality, it has a nice rubberized texture that resists fingerprints but attracts lint. The metal has a coating to it that also resists fiingerprints but attracts dust.
The connection/pairing process is very smooth. I experienced a strong connection without signal loss or interference but i was only about 20 ft away from the speaker.
The sound is very vibrant and the mid are not muddled i was surprised by the bass it offered but it's not overpowering.
The charge time is a little bit of a pain, it took me about 3.5hrs to fully charge the battery but it did last a full week with about 2 hrs use every day at a 50% of the volume.
I use it as a computer speaker but i have it connected via the aux input, I AM SO GLAD THEY DIDN'T PHASE IT OUT!! I love it with the computer and that bose sound does make my movies, anime and gaming sound amazing..better than any computer speaker i have ever owned.
The only gripe i have is since i use it with the computer i would love it to stay on and always have instant sound when i want it. The speaker has a battery shut off feature so if it sits for a bit it will shut off so whenever i use my pc i have to power it on which is minor but the speaker is not conveniently located so it's a little bit of a pain.
OVERALL
AMAZING SOUND THAT DOUBLES AS AN AMAZING PC SPEAKER BUT CAN ALSO BE UNPLUGGED AND TAKEN ON THE GO FOR SOME QUALITY SOUND WITH A LONG BATTERY LIFE.

I have several Bose products and trust in the quality of Bose. 1 or 2 years ago, I bought the Bose Soundlink Micro Bluetooth speaker for use in my car. It works great in the car without sounding like it's coming from the one side of the car where I placed the speaker. The only downside to the Micro is when I try to make calls on it. I can hear the other party well, but the other party can hardly hear me. So when I was shopping for another speaker to use in the house, I couldn't find any info online about the call function. So I knew I had to go to a store because I needed a human being to tell me about the products. I have had great experiences with the employees at Best Buy in the past several months. Every employee seemed to know where things were in the store and were able to answer questions competently. I almost feel it's rare nowadays where employees are only expected to ring up a transaction and if they do tell you something, you aren't convinced so you end up doing your own research. These employees are incredibly knowledgeable about the products and the person helping me suggested the Soundlink Revolve + II saying that this would have better calling function bc of XXX. He was right. I have used it almost everyday to make calls and everything is working great. Wonderful clear sound in the calls and music. Battery life is great. The handle is useful for me to carry around the house. Bluetooth also connects beautifully. The range is incredible. I've been able to take it to the opposite corners of the house and even into the garage.

Great Sound Quality, Love the handle to hang on anything and have it out of the way. I have a round Bluetooth Harman Kardon that isn't as easy to move in and out. This is small but powerful, lightweight, loud and clear. Love the app and long battery life as well. Recommend 10/10

Great sound and quality. The bass level of the music fill the acustic very well. I love that it´s very portable. The battery life is very powerful and one of the best specification that I love is water resistant, so you can take it out avery where, it doesn´t matter.

I received my Bose Soundlink Revolve +II and was immediately impressed with the quality of this portable speaker. Like most Bluetooth speakers it connects to Phones and other Bluetooth sources to play music and answer calls.
The unit has six buttons on top of it. +/- for the volume, power, multi function button (for play, pause, skip forward and back, and answer calls), Bluetooth and an AUX button. There are three lights to indicate battery charge, Bluetooth and AUX audio. There is also a mini-USB port for charging and a mini jack for AUX audio input. The outer skin is a black matte hard plastic surface around the speaker and on the top where the controls are it is a black soft rubber material. The speaker is a round oblong cylinder sharp wider at the base and narrower on the top with the sound coming from the lower half.
What sets this apart from the others is the sound this little portable, water resistant speaker puts out. Bose has always been known for large sound from smaller packages. Not only does the Soundlink Revolve +II fill the room with music, but it does it with a depth and fullness the defies its size. The sound quality is outstanding, full, from the bass to the highs. The sound seems to be none directional, meaning there is no front to aim the sound from. The battery seems to last forever on a single charge. I was able to listen to it on multiple occasions with the battery still showing fully charged.
This is a great portable speaker for any activity in and out doors.

Sounds is great. Good bass. Good volume. I had the Bose sound link mini 2. The battery wasn’t holding a charge for as long as it used to. This battery lasts between 12-14 hours in my listening experience. I would recommend. The handle is great for hanging as well.

Everyone loves my Bose Revolution! Great sounds of course! I’ve had people think it was a home system or looking around outside for a large boombox.
Love the handle, it works great to hang it in the tree outside while the phone was out on the lily pad in the lake.
Charger is universal that plugs into any USB.
Small; compact that even can be attached to a stand! Battery last a very long time; all day playing via Bluetooth.

Great alternative to TV speakers

I bought this Bose speaker for a family member who is hard of hearing while watching TV. Sits nicely on a coffee table without taking up too much space. The handle makes it easy to carry around when needed.
Easily connects to the Bluetooth on the TV. Great sound quality and voices sound crisp without being drowned out by other audio.
I know the usage is uncommon. But I wish Bose and other companies advertised these as alternatives to TV speakers for those that don’t want to wear headphones or disturb others with loud sound systems.

This is the second Bose speaker I bought to pair with my first one. When paired it sounds even better, you get the entire stereo effect of the music. I’m very happy with the sound quality. Running these via Bluetooth from my pc in a 10x10 sq ft room. I can’t even max the volume as it would be too loud for me in the room. I play at max 75% of the volume capacity and the sound is plenty loud enough with no distinguishable degradation of sound quality - and I’m playing mostly mp3 recordings. Awesome speakers! Massive sound (bass, mids, and highs)!!! Forewarning: Pain to have to sync the 2nd speaker with the first each time you use these. But, it’s a quick two button fix I can easily deal with.

I recently got the Revolve+ II less than a week ago and boy, I should've saved my money. This whole speaker is a huge disappointment from start to finish. When I first bought it, I was happy to have another Bose portable speaker. My first one I had was far ahead of its time, so I was excited to get my hands on a new model 12 years later. Initially, I enjoyed it but that was pure brand blindness. I was so blinded by it being a Bose, that I didn't realize how bad it was until I really started taking a closer look at it. To start off, I was expecting for this speaker to work in the Bose App as every other product I own from Bose does. It does not. Wasn't too upset about this initially, but when I wanted to I customize my sound and add more bass, that's when I missed it. Which leads me to my next point, it has virtually no bass at all. Normally this wouldn't be a problem if I could adjust a setting to add more but nope, can't do that. Moving past the lackluster bass, the sound doesn't have that Bose touch that's become a sort of midas touch, if you will. When I think Bose, I think crisp and clear audio balanced and engineered perfectly. While it still sounds nice, it's not "Bose nice." Before this, I had a JBL Charge 4 and it doesn't blow the Revolve+ II out of the water, but it is better; if nothing else the fact that it actually has nice bass puts it above the Revolve+ II. In my mind, there's no reason why I should even be comparing JBL to Bose. So just as I'm thinking that it was time to say goodbye to the Revolve+ II I think, "Wait! I can use it to group up with my Smart Speaker 500! That'll be cool!" And it was! You can actually kinda customize the group sounds in the app and how loud each speaker is individually. However, grouping them up that one time was the worst mistake I made and it's the reason I'll be returning my Revolve + II. Every. Single. Time. I turn the Revolve on, it automatically groups up with my Smart Speaker 500. The best part is, there's no way to un-group them in the app. So I have to go into the app and un-group them every time I power my speaker on. To be fair, there are a couple things this speaker does well.
Pros:
-speaker and phone connection is instantaneous when powered on.
-the buttons are inside crevices and there are raised indentations on one of the buttons, that really helps in the dark.
-they included a handle. This makes it much easier to carry.
-the handle isn't a hard rigid material, it's like a stiff mesh rope. I didn't think I'd like it but they do it well.
-the speaker can get really loud if you want it to.
-it has an auxiliary port, a rare find these days.
-being able to group it with another Bose is cool for the first time you use it.
However it's shortcomings far outweigh its strengths.
-very user unfriendly (no app control, and contestant grouping to another speaker every time it's turned on)
-sound quality is decent but definitely not up to par with the Bose brand, in my opinion.
-no decent bass, borderline none at all.
-the top of the speaker's material feels cheap. I get that it's supposed to withstand impact better, but that kinda leads me to my next point...
-it's easy to tip over. The way it's designed causes it to be top heavy. They've done their best with weighing down the bottom, but it's still easy to accidentally tip it over. Which leads me to my next point...
-it's a relatively heavy speaker. I mean it's not gonna weigh you down if you pack it up in a bag of some sort but I wouldn't feel comfortable carrying it by hand without using the handle.
- I personally am not a fan of the design. The whole 360° sound thing seems like more of a gimmick than a selling point. In my opinion, it causes some of the sound clarity and crispness to be lost.
-it still uses a micro-USB rather than a type C. I know this one is more subjective but I feel like when I pay for a Bose, I should get cutting edge technology. Micro-USB is starting to fade out, so it feels old.
-there's no kind of splash protection around the charging port or auxiliary port. I know that doesn't necessarily go with Bose's design style of sleek and smooth, but I feel like it'd be a nice touch. I can't speak for everyone but I like to use my Bluetooth speakers for when I shower. It doesn't put my mind at ease knowing there's no type of water guard on the charging port. I know better than to actually put it in the shower with me but with all that steam in the air, over time that may cause problems that'll occur coincidentally just outside the warranty dates. Relatively minor thing, but that's what I pay a premium for: the minor things.
-my final and biggest complaint is that it's overpriced. This doesn't feel like a Bose product, but my wallet definitely felt it. Why would I spend $350 on a speaker when it has this many shortcomings? That was one of my complaints with the Smart Speaker 500, was that I felt like I was paying for a name. It was worth it for the Smart Speaker 500, but it's not even close for the Revolve+ II. I can get better sound and better element protection from a $150 speaker over this $350 speaker.
In conclusion, if you're reading this, just don't buy it. Save yourself the time and money and go get something else, you'll thank me later.
However, I am going to give Bose another shot at redemption. I'll be promptly returning this and getting the Portable Smart Speaker for about $80 more. I'll be sure to review that as well.

You can't go wrong with Bose, but there are better sounding alternatives.
Pros
- Very good sound quality (not amazing)
- Gets plenty loud
- Convenient carrying handle
- Simple
- Looks better in person than images
- Cool charging dock (at an extra cost)
Cons
- Expensive for the sound quality, there are better alternatives.
- Should have better waterproofing and dust proofing at this price and size. It's portable but I wouldn't trust taking it to the beach or tent camping.
If your primary goal is sound quality then go with Marshall which will provide noticeably better and fuller sound. However, this Bose excels in portability and the charging dock is super cool (at an extra cost).

Deep. Loud. And immersive, too. The Bose SoundLink Revolve Portable Bluetooth Speaker delivers true 360 degree sound for consistent, uniform coverage. Place it in the center of the room to give everyone the same audio experience. Or set it near a wall and sound will radiate and reflect around the room. The tapered cylindrical shape makes this wireless speaker easy to grab and go, while a durable aluminum body provides worry-free protection. And it is water resistant so you can keep the party going, even if it starts to rain. The rechargeable, lithium-ion battery plays up to 12 hours a for full-day listening. Voice prompts talk you through Bluetooth pairing, and there is a built-in speakerphone so you can take calls from co-workers, family or friends. Use the Bose Connect app to pair two SoundLink speakers for Stereo or Party Mode. The app also helps you manage your devices, unlock features and access future updates.
