The system sounds great and once you get it working you will love it. However, if you put this with a Samsung Q9 the HDMI connection didn't work so you have to go through the optical connection. Then the setup and operation weren't straight forward to get sound out of the bose sound bar. It was easier to get blue tooth working to ipad and phone than optical to the TV. Like I said, once you figure it out its a great system.

Work great with the Subwoofer, doesn’t get too loud, but sound is clean. Very expensive also.

Did the reviews and it came down to the Bose and the Sonos. Both great with sound but I went with Bose due to all the negative reviews about Sonos customer care. Didn’t want to even take a chance of buying it and then not getting assurance if I needed it. No need for the bass box either and I have the cathedral ceilings too.

This is one of the best soundbars for an apartment. Great bass and vocals. The best part I like about this particular soundbar is that once you grow in space and want louder sound or more bass etc. this can be extended to a sub-woofer and other bose speakers instead of throwing this away and buying a new thing altogether.

This sound bar sounds great. It sounds good as a stand alone speaker, but plan to eventually purchase the whole system. Also,Boise is a great product; have never been disappointed with any Boise product. Did not give it 5 stars because there are more expensive sound bars that sound better!

This sound bar is a little smaller then some but way better sounding with easy setup and no problems works great. Had a samsung sound-bar before it was glitchy and didn't sound as good.. so way happier with the Bose.

Easy to setup, quality product, with exceptional sound quality... Just one recommendation, purchase the bass speaker along with the sound bar to fully enjoy the sound quality this system is capable of...

We bought this and the large rmatching wireless bass unit - verrrry pleased with the amount of sound from such a slim unit - typical BOSE. Simple installation to TV and easy pairing with Bluetooth. Was concerned that without the rear speakers that it wouldn't fill the room (about 16'x16') but it does an excellent job.

This is one of the nicest sounding sound bars. Ease of setup, and placement. Love that i get to use a app on my Android device to configure and setup. Absolutely amazing sound for a wireless unit. Great job Bose!

I love listening to music weather it's in the car, upstairs, outside, any and everywhere I just love it. I had been doing some research on a new home audio system and walked in Best Buy knowing I was going to purchase the Sonos system. It was sleek and stylish and provided ample the experience I needed. But shortly after talking to a Besy Buy associate and comparing the Bose Soundtouch to the Sonos I knew I had to get the Bose simply because of ease of use. The ability to simply connect via bluetooth made my decision clear. I am not the only user of this system so if my wife wants to connect (who isn't tech savvy) all she has to do is click a button and press play. The sound quality between the two are pretty much identical.

I upgraded from a Sony home theatre system and was very pleased with the clarity and quality of sound from the Bose soundbar. I was so pleased that I went back and bought the bass and satellite speakers. Love it!
