Really glad I went with the Bose soundbar. I previously had the big Soundtouch 30 music system connected to my TV via 3.5mm audio cable, but that setup did not offer the seamless transition from TV to bluetooth, etc. With the soundbar connected to my TV's HDMI ARC port, it comes on when I power up the Blu-Ray player or the TV, ready to go. It also shuts off when I power down the TV, which is nice. The remote is nice and intuitive as well. I shopped for weeks, looking to spend as much as $3000 on a compact integrated amp, high quality speakers, and a subwoofer to enhance my music listening and TV viewing experience in the dining room. Not a lot of space to work with, and although any number of soundbars would fit the shelf below my TV nicely, I was certain I did not want a soundbar. I was wrong. The sound is fantastic, even without the Bose subwoofer, for music and TV alike. The bass is adjustable, and with it turned up, the music is surprisingly deep and, as Bose likes to say, room-filling. Watching DVD's, I am frequently surprised by sounds coming from the side of the room. I don't care a whole lot about surround performance from a soundbar, but it is somewhat entertaining when a voice intended to come from a different room in the movie really sounds like it's coming from my kitchen. Overall, I'm really satisfied with the Bose Soundtouch soundbar. Maybe someday I will get myself the subwoofer and rattle the plates in my kitchen cabinets, but for now it's nice to have an enjoyable music listening experience from such an unobtrusive object. It blends into the black shelf on which it sits and those that notice it are impressed by the aesthetics of the glass top.

We bought the Bose Soudnbar for my birthday, and soundwise, as with all Bose gear, you will not be disappointed. Geek Squad set up the bar with our TV, and the setup looks sleek. No complaints on the look or sounds. One weird thing we are trying to diagnose is occasionally the soundbar turns itself off, or more accurately seems to lose the signal from the TV (or the TV fails to send). The TV is a newish Sony flatscreen. It is an odd issue, and seems to correct when we play with the input button on the remote, but odd. Otherwise very pleased.

The sound is fantastic and the setup was a piece of cake. I paired it with the rear speakers so easily.

I was looking at Sonos first, but after comparing them in the store, Bose sounds much better. I also bought subwofer and VI 300 speakers. I like it a lot.

The sound bar works very well in the large area that we have it in. It fills the room with sound and has high quality sound as well.

The system was easy to setup but a little confusing to configure since there is no visual interface. The free smartphone app did allow a more intuative setup process. A little disappointed with the surround speakers as the sound is not as dynamic as one would expect from Bose. Even when adjusting the rear channel levels through the app they did not perform to expectations. The price paid for the entire system: sound bar, surround speakers and sub woofer was high. Felt that it was priced base on name brand rather than performance.

Even though you need the subwoofer to go with this it sounds amazing, it's pricey but we'll worth it

This is a Great product and easy to install. Template is available that makes the installation easy to do compared to other products where you have to do a lot of measurements.

Easy setup, easy pairing, unbelievable sound. Maybe a tad pricey for some, but well worth it.

even without the sub the sound is still really good. you need a smartphone and the bose app to setup.

Build quality is second to none. Great sound although high price tag. Will probably add the base module soon which again high price tag, but worth it

I bought this for my OLED TV. I am very impress with the quality of sound and the sleek design. I added the bass unit to have the full blown sound experience. I am really happy with this sound bar. It also connects to Alexa which is neat If you are not tech savvy you might have to consider assistance for connecting it to Alexa and download the skill. Otherwise, very easy set up. No strings, no futzing

Well, what can I say, Have been after a setup for what the Wife would call an enternity. However I'm extremely picky and actually have OCD so don't want to buy something, and then 1 year later say "Dang, I should have waited" I love the features, setup is a little cumbersome, but WoW so worth it once it's dialed into your space. I have always been a Bose fan, and this product is pretty dang awesome. I'm so glad the Wife got it.

I went through multiple sound bars and subs before the Bose Soundtouch 300. I also bought the sub. Music and movies are amazing with the soundtouch 300 system. But, I also do some gaming and the Bose falls short there. I'm returning for the Sonos Playbar + sub as I hear it's very versatile with all three do to its nine mid base drivers. One thing to note is the Bose does have Bluetooth which is nice to have as the Sonos does not. Also the Bose has two HDMI ports so you can take advantage of ARC technology. It truly is a fantastic system and you won't regret it.

We watch a lot of British produced shows, and used to have trouble distinguishing words spoken with the various accents. Our new Bose soundbar has great clarity and helps us distinguish and separate the words much more easily. In addition, the surround sound feature works astoundingly well. Twice I have gone to check out sounds in my neighbor's yard, only to discover that they were coming from the soundbar!

We intended to purchase a new receiver; we chose to go wireless instead, and are very happy we did. We have always enjoyed the Bose sound. We can now have it throughout our home with the SoundTouch speaker system, whether played in unison or independently. This system works well with Amazon Prime music and Alexa as well. I can effortlessly play the music saved to my computer. Very pleased. The Geek Squad support was super.

Well worth the price! Remember, you get what you pay for. If you want theater-like presence in your home, but you want the ease and uncluttered simplicity of a soundbar, your options are extremely limited. Don't buy anything without checking this out first! And don't kid yourself...you NEED the subwoofer! Add a couple SoundTouch 10, 20 or 30 speakers and wow your party guests by playing your "greatest hits" throughout your house!
