Pretty comfortable excellent sound and can get pretty loud. If someone buys this and complains about it not being private idk what they where thinking in the first place when they bought it. Obviously you won't have private conversations but cares that's not what this speakers where meant for. They are perfect for a workplace where you need to be aware of your surroundings for safety and obvious reasons. Only setback so far is not bad at all but when its hot out. You feel like your even hotter wearing this. But not a deal breaker. Overall excellent quality and a great deal at the sale price! Not the full asking price.

An excellent portable speaker!! The sound quality is surprisingly good. There’s a decent amount of bass for such a small speaker. The lightweight nature of the device honestly makes it seem like it’s not even there. Using it while doing stuff around the house is amazing. The phone call quality is good. It’s clear and quality. The case that you can purchase is pretty good too. Bose really did a great job with this product!!

My girls told me that the sound of my sound bar is way too loud when I watch my movies. I tried to explain that the whole idea for getting a sound bar is to enjoy big and deep sound of the movies. Yet, of course they do not understand. I started to check on the wearable speakers. There are so many of them, yet I was not sure if that would be a choice. I know none of them will give you a surround sound. None of them are dolby speakers, but I decided to give a shot. I was initially looking into Sony. They do not have one in the US, but we can import with less than $300. It is not Bluetooth enabled, it need an additional device hooked up to TV or sound system. I wanted it to be easy and simple. I saw Bose and studied how it is. Bose has a good reputation and sound quality should be good. Although I saw many reviews criticizing it's sound quality. Most of them are from musician or music lovers. I am not music guy but simply wanted to enjoy movies with nice quality sound. After months of consideration, I decided to buy Bose. Set up was easy. It connected with my TV instantly and started working fine. If I walk away a little further, the sound breaks but as long as I am sitting and watching movies, there is no issue. If I am home alone, I use my sound bar and enjoy full body of the movie sound, but when my daughters are home, I use Bose. They sometimes wonder if I was still awake because my living room was so quiet. I love this product, and it cleared our problem in my house. It is a speaker so people around you will hear your sound, but since the speakers are so close to the ears, it is not disturbing. It is not surround but it feels you are surrounded by sounds. If Bose come out with dobly enabled, I will probably check it out.

I don't like to wear headphones while I'm walking in the city. Want to be able to clearly hear what's going on. Have tried using small bluetooth speaker but it was too much of a pain for the quality of sound. These are perfect. I can keep the volume low but still get excellent sound. Definitely worth the extra $100 over other wearables for the incredible Bose quality and sound. This is my lifestyle changing device living in the city. I think they will also be a very welcome addition in the car. Small request for Ease: Do wish they had a headphone jack I could use while I"m on the train but not a big deal. Will just plug in to my music source. I get so excited I encourage people I meet on the way to try them. :-) Like to share great little 'finds' will all.

Nice bass, great high end sound. The technology is amazing... great stereo sound that you hear in your ears! You can keep it down low for background music or crank it up for completely immersive sound. Long battery life. At work I pair with my phone to listen to music without disrupting others and can quickly answer a call. I love using it paired to my TV for night time movie watching. If you don't like ear buds in your ears this is for you.

I bought this for conference calls where I am not on head set but can still move around without holding the speakers It sounds good on shoulders. However once I keep it down, it doesn't sound that great. Initially it felt little heavy, but after getting used to it its not bad at all.

I use this device in a warehouse environment often only feet away from others. It allows me to enjoy the volume I like without disturbing those around me. Even in quieter areas without machinery what I play isn't identifiable unless I put the device on the neck of others. The fact that they aren't really hearing the full experience until I put the device on their neck is the most fun because the reaction is always amazement in the quality of sound and my volume level. Its unexpected. I own lots of wireless headphones. I absolutely hate sticking anything in my ear so I've gone with the Bose Quiet Comfort 15 and OE, 2 JBL E55BTs, and 1 Beats Solo. The SoundWear Companion provides the best experience so far. I like a balance of sound, too many HIs and MISs sound like a transistor radio, too much LOWs muddys great audio mixes. I like vocals to sound as close to the natural speaking voice as possible and I can tell when a sound device is altering the sound of my music. I have Harmon Kardon car stereo, and Onyx Studio portable devices, Yamaha surround sound theater. The Soundwear Companion keeps things pretty natural. The only thing I advise is keeping the protective cover on. I experienced headaches using it without the cover. Not sure why. Cleaning inside the cover often if you sweat a lot while using them. Especially in dirty warehouse or similar environments to avoid skin irritation. The device produces enough volume to share music with others around you, but I wouldn't use it for that unless you don't mind losing your hearing. ;-) 5 stars for me.

I can sit four feet away from my wife and converse while enjoying music at the same time. Also, I don't disturb her reading. Cranking the Soundwear Companion will definitely be heard by others, but you will get to 'feel' the bass. This has definitely exceeded my expectations, although being Bose, I shouldn't be surprised. My only nitpick is that the controls are somewhat difficult to feel under the cover.

Bose impressed me with this product. They are comfortable, sound great, have a long battery life and easy to use controls. I mainly wear them around the house while doing chores. I appreciate being able to hear what's going on around me while bingeing on audiobooks and podcasts. I bought them on sale at Best Buy for 50% off and believe that price was quite fair for the value they provide to me.

Use these a lot. I wanted something I could use around the house and still hear the family. Not a private speaker so would not recommend if you don't want other people listening/hearing your audio. The app lets you adjust the sound somewhat which is nice because depending on the audio you might have to adjust the bass. Comfortable and the sound is nice. A bit expensive but it is Bose.

I purchased the Bose Soundwear several months ago. I spend a lot of time driving large vehicles and can't have any devices on my head or in my ears while at work. The Soundwear has worked very well for me. Call quality is very clear. The sound quality while listening to music is very crisp. Bass response obviously is minimal due to the speaker size in the unit, which should be expected. I've worn it during bike rides with my sons as well as while at home cooking or doing laundry. Battery life varies depending on the volume you're listening too. Consistently I receive between 9 to 11 hours before having to recharge. Connecting to you're phone is easy using the Bose Connect app, which allows you to update the speaker easily. I purchased additional replacement sleeves which allowed me to wash them when they get dirty. It is sweat resistant and easy to wipe it down if necessary. This has been a great buy and turned out to be a go to speaker for me.

When you first put these on your shoulder you wonder how they could be so light and compact and have any sound at all. The pairing mode was easy to acquire and the Bose App is well designed and simple to use. Once paired to your Bluetooth device, you begin to understand why Bose is at the Top when it comes to sound. Crisp High end treble, good mid range, and for the size amazing Base response. These also don't have a problem staying on your shoulders. I have even used them motorcycling which is much safer than using headphones. The Battery life is amazing. I have used them for the last three weeks, and using them about 6 hours, and they still have a 70% battery life remaining. There are voice prompts to help you through the various controls. I have also paired these to a Samsung 9 series TV and they work fantastic. Only issue I have is that I had to have them also connected to the iPhone APP and had to raise the volume on the iPhone APP in order to get significant volume on the soundwear with the Samsung TV. That was somewhat strange in the application design. The other thing you should be aware of is that other people can hear your music when you play it; not that it bothers you but, it may bother others in the room with you, if they don't like the same music. On the whole these are excellent and well worth the Bose price tag. Definitely go and Buy Them Before they Are All Gone!!

First off... not sure what happened with the price but they were on sale for $150 on 08/12/2019. Glad I got them when I did! If you are looking at these you probably have gone through a ton of headphones, earbuds...so have I. My main cans in rotation before I bought these were the Sony WH-1000XM3 and Bose SoundSport Free Truly Wireless. I have the new Samsung buds but they really are only good for taking calls when my Bose aren't in close proximity. The Bose SoundWear adequately replace all 3 in most cases. The sound is just different...crisp, good depth, especially when watching video, immersive WITH the added benefit of being able to hear your surroundings. I've used them working out, mostly weight training and even tried them on the elliptical with no problems. Took them to the driving range and yeah they didn't stay on but that's to be expected. I ended up tucking them under the collar of my shirt and they stayed put well enough to get through a bucket of balls. I could see creating some straps of some sort to wrap around my shoulders if I ever decide to really work out with them...maybe. At $300...ehh not sure, can't count your money. I bought my Sony's at full price and I will definitely use these than the XM3s.

I absolutely love my Bose. It is light weight on the shoulders and neck. It hooked up to my galaxy 9+ much easier than other bluetooth I have used in the past. It is nice not to be saddled with ear plugs that fall out and earplugs with hooks that get out of shape and hurt the ears. It was definitely worth the money!!!!

I've owned it's main competitor and the only thing that makes it better then this one is the price and sound seperation. This one is so much better in every other catagory though that you should just get this one. The battery life is twice as long. Bass is better. Charging better. Build quality. Bose made something nice here.

I have an older car that has a tape deck and that's how I got the signal from my phone to the speakers to hear driving directions and music. I tried the FM transmitter option years ago and the sound was horrible. Instead of having to deal with bad sound coming through the tape head and having to turn the volume way up to hear I use these which I can listen to at lower volumes and still hear turn by turn directions, make and receive phone calls or have a conversation with someone sitting next to me. I've seen people using ear buds in their cars and full over-the-ear headphones while they're driving...wearing headphones while driving is illegal in every state I believe. Don't buy these if you're expecting over-the-ear/in-ear headphone performance or something that compares to your newer car audio systems. The sound is decent and but you can always adjust the sound profiles on your phone to better suit your listening tastes. Depending on what your volume is set at the person sitting next to you can hear what you're listening to or to the conversation you're having during a phone call. Instead of buying and installing a better head unit for your older vehicle this provides an alternative that is legal and still sounds very good.

I'm a podcast fanatic. If given the option, I will stay on it 24/7. Obviously life gets in the way, especially two young kids. This is by far the best headphone/speaker I have for listening to podcasts. The good: 1. Easy on, easy off. I've had other bluetooth listening devices, including numerous speakers and headphones. This one is best for personal listening. I can put it on my neck in less than 3 seconds and take it off just as fast, super easy. Then the sound just stays with me like a pair of headphones. 2. Does not stick inside my ear. I cannot deal with ear buds, to the point that I think I'm allergic to them. 3. Does not prevent me from listening to the outside world. Did I mention that I have young kids? My favorite part is to wear this one while driving because I don't have to turn the volume high enough to disturb the others who prefer something else than talk show, and I can still hear what they want/need when necessary. 4. Sound quality is great when it's on my neck. There are occasions that I have to take it off and set it aside and I lose all the lows instantly. 5. Easy to connect with multiple devices and manage different connections with app. This is a very important function that many so-called multi connect cheap bluetooth device lacks. I can sit next to the TV, connect it to my Fire TV stick and enjoy whatever I watch without disturbing others. Then I can remove the connection just as easily using the app on my phone. The bad: 1. Yes others can hear me. That's why I don't use it when I have to ride the train or bus. But I can enjoy late night TV without disturbing the kids, as long as I'm in a different room. 2. I get hot when exercise with it. Some people mentioned this is great when riding bicycles. I can't deal with that because this extra weight prevent my body from dissipating the heat efficiently. 3. Because it does not block outside noise, I can't use it for vacuuming or mowing the lawn. The ugly: 1. Too expensive. Frankly I don't see myself owning a pair of these except the fact it was on sale for half of the price, and I have some rewards certificate that's about to expire. However, I do not regret this purchase for the slightest bit because of all the good things it brings me.

Yup. Four. I gave three of them as gifts because I like to give something that I know is an excellent product and having owned several sets of Bose® speakers, including the legendary 901s, I have ZERO reservations about buying something from them. The workmanship is excellent. The sound superb . The style, is beyond reproach. The sound? Yeah...Again, SUPERB. This speakers, these "headphones" are not for the stuck up of the frAudiophile World (I read that term on the internet and it is hilarious!), they are for REAL people that enjoy listening to music, NOT equipment. Bose makes excellent products for people, not SNOBS. Only a snob listens to equipment while a person listens to music. Music is the soundtrack of our lives. Love is friendship set to music. These Soundwear Companions are worth the price of admission and I was ready to buy two of them when they went on sale at 50%, soooooo...I bought four of them instead! They are extremely easy to set up and you can use the Bose App or just hook them up via Bluetoof without the App. They work and they reproduce music beautifully. I gave one pair to my son and two pair (a pair of pairs!) to my brother and his wonderful wife! They really LIKE them! My sister-in-law is a Goldsmith and can easily wear them and enjoy music while working at her bench. She wears them in their garden. She wears them around the house. They both wear them around the house and like my son, they both reeeeeeeeeeally like these 'phones! I am certain you will too. Highly recommended? Yup. Trust me...I know what I'm doin' when I'm reviewin'.

Who does this? Bose does. What a crazy idea, surely this can't work... but it does. Clear highs and a mid to lower bass that starts in your ears and finishes on the back of your neck. Also one of the best, and least pretentious, bluetooth headsets for phone calls. The audio experience goes from subtle to 'wow' depending on the recording range & volume. All of which is exclusive to the wearer, as others hear nothing close to what you're experiencing. A book on tape at low volume is downright stealth. Listening to music without earphones or earbuds is surreal. Dialog in movies & shows has never been easier to understand. If you need full volume, stick to over the ear. But if you crave an audio oasis, while still being alert to the outside world, look no further. Soundwear is the natural evolution of headphones.
