This is a continued review from January 3rd, about the Bose 900. Named under Michael. I purchased these after setting up the Bose 900 and 700 subwoofer. The front surround sound had very good separation and depth. But after setting up the rear speakers with the subwoofer, the level of surround is amazing. It don't think I could go back to a A/V receiver system if you paid me. The problem I had with the last 2 receivers was that they became glitchy after a few years. The Bose isn't without it's hurdles, but it's only one instead of several issues. That's not to say a top tier AV receiver with top rated tower speakers wouldn't blow the Bose out of the water, but this is perfect for a living room home theater experience. The rear surround is definitely present, and actually enhanced my older movies when played on my Blu-ray player. Also, I like how compact the rear speakers are. Combined with a subwoofer the surround sound from the rear is rich and clear. Again, the Bose only has the Dolby sound formats and none of the DTS sound formats. With that said I can't believe how good the Dolby sound formats are, through the Bose system. Dolby Atmos is obviously the best, but if you have older movies you will want to rewatch them. It's pretty cool to hear what I missed 20 years ago. I suggest adding this to your system, but set them at least 6 feet up. Adding a rear sub will also enhance your experience.

These are great! If you are having trouble with low volume, put a thick sock or cloth over the surround speakers and run asaptiq. The headset (provided for calibration) will think the surrounds are “lower volume” so it will increase them! These work wonders for atmos and non-atmos content. So many extra layers of sound throughout the room now. I bought the stands but have not needed to use them yet. They are on a cabinet and a desk behind my couch and it works great. They are super small but sleek as well! Best part of all of it - they are wife approved :) 100% buy these.

Let me save you some time. I gave these speakers a 5 out of 5 for the excellent sound they add to your set up, so please, buy them and enjoy them, worth every penny. If you want to know a neat trick to get them to sound louder, try this: take a thin cloth (micro fiber works great), and place a cloth over each speaker THEN calibrate with the Adaptiq setting. The cloth will force your speakers to perform louder for the Adaptiq test, THEN once you’re done, go to your Bose app, go to Audio, and turn up the speaker volume to your liking. Those black boxes on the ground will help the sound to be more stable if they have a clear site of your sound bar Very easy to set up, looks great with the omni jewel stands, the sound is insane

Even on multiple reviews on google it says that its tooooo quiet. The bulk of the job is done by the sound bar. The surround sound literally does 10% of the job so its not that loud. I expected a bit more. This is the case even if you set the vol to 100 on the bose app. However its nice to have surround sound even though its not that loud. If you have to pay $600 for this product i personally dont think its worth it but on sale it makes the value proposition friendlier.

We purchased these Bose Surround Sound 700 speakers from my compliment our Bose 700 Sound-bar in order to complete the total theater sound effects while watching movies. If you get a chance go into Best Buy and hear them for yourself. They are crystal clear and really make sound effects like they should be heard. Buy them, you won’t be disappointed! Oh, one other thing, don’t forget to purchase the mounts for wall or ceiling applications.

I had purchased the Bose smart sound bar 900 and Bose Bass Module 700 and decided to add the Bose surround speakers 700 and wasn’t disappointed.

great pair to my sounder 700, sounds great. However initial setup there was some issues where the system identifies left as right and vice versa. I believe there was an update that was pushed and its corrected. The sound is great if you enjoy surround sound, however make sure what you're watching is 5.1 surround otherwise you wouldn't be taking the full advantage of these speakers. Also be sure to invest in their omnijewel stand to pair... unless you are mounting it on the wall or ceiling.

Surround sound 700 speakers are unbelievable. I just set up a 700 sound bar System. 700 accoustimass. It was good. After adding the surroundsound 700 speakers and finally fine-tuned it. is on unreal sound. You’re literally in the middle of it I would recommend this to anybody. If you’re unsure about the extra money it is well worth every penny. Put together Difficult for beginners Sound and richness, clarity Absolutely From low to high clarity is unbelievable As always BOSE lives up to its name Love It José

I love these Bose 700 surround speakers. They complete my home theater experience and the sound is incredible!

Best rear speakers I could find. Typically noone jumps straight to the most expensive surround sound first. I will say Ive bought and returned several speakers before settling with Bose. You might as well go straight to the good stuff because you'll be returning stuff like I did.

These speakers are tiny but have great sound when calibrated and set up right! I have found my family, friends, and even myself habing paranoia hearing all the tiny sound details you normally wouldn't. Such a good addition to our soundbar and woofer! Glad my husband bought these! Sat these behind my couch.

These Bose 700 surround speakers sound great! I have the stands for them also. I actually got the whole surround system together with Bose 900 soundbar and the Bose subwoofer 700. I am in the movies every time I turn on my Television. I would definitely recommend the Bose surround speakers! You will not be disappointed.

The Bose 700 surround exceeded my expectations! Definitely the finishing touch for the Bose 700 soundbar & subwoofer. I have mine set to 80, they were too loud on 100. I almost went with the 500s, I’m happy I spent the extra money.

Adding these tiny surround sound 700 speakers to my soundbar 300. It’s amazing sound, great sound, make sure to turn down center speaker too low and surround sound too high.
