Customers often highlight the impressive brightness and color variety of the Flexible 24" LED Ring Light. They appreciate its user-friendly design and affordable price point. The phone holder, flexible stand, and portability are also well-received features. However, some users mention that the size may be limiting for some uses, and a few find it to be on the heavier side, affecting its stability.

This light does the job well. It provides very effective lighting. It is a little larger than it looks in the product description, but that means it can reach farther. The larger size and heavier weight does mean that it needs a sturdy surface to attach to. Too heavy to attach to a monitor, small laptop, tablet or smartphone. The buttons are a little small and require very precise finger presses, but I do appreciate the variable light levels and shades. I just hope the buttons hold up to frequent use.

This lamp works great over my computer desk. The clamp is very sturdy and can be hooked up just about anywhere on my desk. I wasn't sure if I wanted/needed the phone clamp but it does come in handy. The clamping system for the cell phone is very secure. Depending on your computer set-up and the location of your USB ports the USB cord may be a bit short for some people.
The LED lights work great and create plenty of light on my desktop. There are three different lighting modes and a dimmer, so this should work for anyone's lighting needs.

I wish I had bought this item a year ago! This gives me the amount of light I need where I need it and frees up my hands by securely holding my phone. The price was much more reasonable than expected as well!

I take pictures of items that I make for my IG page. This works well for that purpose. I do not think this would work as well if I wanted to use this for vlogging or selfies.

I was disappointed purchasing this product as it was unable to hold my cellphone (Samsung Galaxy Note 9) without significantly drooping the second I'd let go or completely falling off the desk. However it works just fine with my older phones (Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and S4).
With that being said, I've been able to conveniently use this thing for lighting, with a camcorder sitting behind as a webcam for my computer.
I would not recommend this item for bigger or bulkier phones.

This was purchased as a gift for my husband by one of my sons. We were not sure how he would feel about it but it turns out he loves it. My husband is one that likes lots of light especially while working at the computer.

Good Ring Light for Zoom and Facetime For Beginner

This was my first ever ring light purchase . I think this is a great starter ring light at a good price for the average person. I bought it because I wanted to use it for Zoom and Facetime meetings during Covid-19.
It's small and portable which I like very much because I can use it in different rooms so I can have different backgrounds in my meetings. It's a good travel size as well (although you need somewhere to plug it in so it's not the type of thing you'd take around sight seeing) but for virtual meetings it is good. I think the closest thing it resembles is a vanity mirror that you put on your desk to put on makeup or a small desk lamp. It's pretty lightweight and also, easy to store.
I like that it is flexible so you can really experiment with different ways to film yourself. I also like that the light is a small to medium size (like a desk lamp). It's totally bright enough for me. Anything brighter or bigger would be uncomfortable close up and make me very hot which is not a great look on camera!
One thing you will need for this product is an adaptor if you want to plug it into the wall as the cord is a usb cable. So I would keep that in mind.
One thing I don't like is that the part that holds the cell phone always falls off when I'm trying to set up which is a little bit frustrating. Not sure why they made that detachable. However in meetings it has always stayed in place and holds my cell phone very well.
The light has different settings so you can adjust the color and brightness which is nice. I got positive feedback about how my presentation looked. And it is very flattering and doesn't show your flaws too much. However, and this may be the case with all ring lighting in general, after a very long meeting (2 hours) the light started to hurt my eyes so I simply turned it off when I wasn't speaking.
I'm not sure how I feel about the clip feature. On the one hand, I guess it stands closer to you on the table so you can move back more. It was very sturdy and held the contraption up during my meetings with ease. My table was fine afterwards. However, it won't fit on tables that aren't thin (think very thick tables or ones that don't have a ledge and go straight up and down). Also I'm not sure if would work if I wanted to film something on the table. Could I use this for a cooking demonstration? Could I employ this for a virtual dinner date? I'm not sure.
Also, I wish they had better instructions with how to use this light. The instructions are very general and basic. I would of liked to have known how far away I could be or should be from the camera. I would also like to have some ideas of what are good angles to mold it too (it is very moldable) as I am not an expert at filming this way and I would like some ideas on what to do instead of having to guess.
Overall, great beginner light that suits the need of the average Zoomer or Facetimer. It's user friendly and suitable for every day video chats. I would recommend it.

I’m very pleased with this ring light. I’m coming from a cheaply-made overpriced ring light I bought off of Amazon (it wasn’t long before its hinge became loose and I had a floppy light that couldn’t hold its position). Now this, this is SUCH an upgrade. Believe me, the flexible neck is MUCH more robust than having a hinge that can fail. Although I wasn’t originally planning on using it, the phone holder is such a nice addition too! I’ve attached this to a computer monitor stand so that I can have some better lighting when doing Zoom/video calls. My only complaint would probably be the blue light on the controller, I think its just to help you locate it in the dark but its pretty bright when I’m trying to sleep. I covered it with some Sharpied paper lol.

This light is sturdier than it looks. I was really surprised at the quality. The necks are flexible and strong. The clip is big and strong, and as much as my table (fold out/temporary/plastic), shakes when I type, it has stayed put. The light has several settings and illumination can be turned up or down. I love this item and would recommend it. I bought two thinking it's small size wouldn't light much. I was wrong. It lights up me and the entire wall behind me. You won't be sorry for just purchasing one.

This thing is fantastic. The light works really well for Zooms and it's easy to position. I take one star away because the clip is a little bulky which restricts how close to the wall or even a computer monitor you place it.

This is a great light for those that are just starting out in vlogging or that need lighting that is easy to move and set up. With the table clip, it makes it very mobile and having the ability to put your phone on there is really excellent. I am mostly using it as a regular light with a webcam to add lighting to my small, not stable space. The price and ease of use made it a win-win for me. The only small issue is that the light on your face is a little bit whiter than I would have preferred, making me a little too unnaturally bright, but at the right distance it is fine.

Purchased to help with lighting in my work-from-home setup. I'm in a dark corner that gets ... not great angles of natural light. The different temperatures of light and being able to adjust brightness is perfect for what I need! Plus the flexible arms are long enough to move it into a good position.

A must if you do job interviews via Zoom, Google Meet, etc... You have to control your lighting to look decent. The "warm" light setting is what I use. Also doubles as a desk lamp. Spring clamp is very secure and stable. If I was a youtuber or vlogger, I would travel with this and wouldn't hesitate to use it. The holder for a cellphones seems a little weak with the clamp pressure from the sides. But that's nothing a few rubberbands won't cure.
