Customers regard the Pro Series Tulip Lens Hood and Lens Cap as a well-fitting, sturdy product that offers good value for money. They appreciate its compatibility with most 52mm lenses and the inclusion of a lens cap. However, some users have reported vignetting when using the lens hood with a wide-angle lens and a UV filter attached.

The tulip shape gives much flexibility when adjusting for light source. This makes it easy to adjust, without having to take it on and off.

My lens is totally protected by this hood. Well, maybe not totally, but it still functions and does what it is supposed to do. Nothing fancy. No WiFi, no ads, just a hood.

I purchase this lens hood for my 4K Sony camcorder to help with sun glare when I am shooting early in the morning or in the late afternoon. It was incredibly affordable, and it is sturdy, and it gets the job done. It was an exceptional price for a very good product.

Replacement lens cap for my base Nikon lens. The tulip is a bit of a waste as it gets in the way with the lens protector, but otherwise the lens cap is great

Wanted an inexpensive hood for a Canon t5. Went on easy, and does the job. Good hood for the price. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a hood.

Fits well, easy to install as well as easy to clean. No need to purchase the expensive ones from your camera provider because this one does the same job.

I found that when the lens is fully adjusted to get the maximum picture at a far distance, the lens hood cast a shadow at the side of the photo. I shot photos on an extensive overseas trip and saw no difference to the quality of a photo when using the hood. The lens cap worked just fine but if purchasing again, I would look for one that could be anchored to the camera when not in use to prevent losing the cap.

Lost my lens cap and found this lens hood and cap combination at a good price. Works great and am glad I got it. I'm sure you could pay much more but this does the job!

I needed a hood for my D3200 that I use at work and is mostly used outdoors. It makes it so much easier for taking pictures in the morning when the sunlight is at the wrong angle. Very pleased with it.

lens hood for Nikon D-5300

This Hood doesn't work with D5300 and 18-55 DX Zoom. When using the pop up flash in the Portrait or Child Mode, the flash creates a shadow on the image. Zooming in or out changes the shadow but doesn't eliminate it. Rotating the hood doesn't help either. Works fine in other modes. this is a good hood, but not recomended for my camera, sure it will work otherwise for other cameras.

I bought this thinking it would improve some of my outdoor photos, especially those with sun glares. Perhaps I'm not using it correctly but I'm not entirely impressed with the results. The lens hood itself seems sturdy but the fit on the camera was a bit awkward. It didn't cost much to buy, which is why I only recommend to those who'd give it a try.

This is a perfect little lens hood! I didn't think lens hood actually did anything until I bought one.
