    It certainly works and can be adjusted to suit your needs however simply isn’t as nice in fit or quality as nikon’s when attached to their lenses

    Depending on your zoom, you get a consistent black halo around your photos. Swapping the hood around to serve as a cover was not as easy as I would have liked. I have tried to give this away but no one will take it!

    Tulip lens hood shows up in photos if you aren't careful about how it is positioned when you snap a photo. I think a barrel lens hood would be better.

    I really like this lens hood and cap the only reason I didn’t give it five stars was because it has no lanyard for the cap. You have to buy that separate.

    In a pinch its ok. Stick to the original for the camera. The fit on this is a little annoying but once you get it on it works

    My only gripe is the asymmetric shape of the hood which means you may have to rotate it before snapping a picture to keep stray light out. Otherwise it's a good hood.

    Works great on telephoto lens and any higher zoom than 24mm, any wide angle lens it gets in the view of it.

    This Bower Pro Series Tulip Lens Hood and Lens Cap was an excellent choice for my 52mm Lenses. It also included a protective lens cap for protecting the lens from dust. The built quality is relatively good and at a great price.

    I had dropped and broke the lens hood that came with my lens. I wasn't a fan of the tulip hood, but have since come to appreciate it's shape more than I thought I would.
