    This is a very small lens hood but it does the trick. I don't need much of the sun covered because I prefer some flares to show through but this gives me the little bit I need.

    I bought this lens hood as an inexpensive alternative to buying the Nikon hood. I wish I hadn't. It does fit on the lens, but the collar this hood uses is flimsy and won't stay put. The lens hood itself twists around and falls off even without being bumped.

    I've seen more efficient ones on the market. The reason I purchased this is because I needed something right away to eliminate lens flare. You have to zoom in slightly to eliminate lens flare completely with the sony ax-33 camcorder. I don't know if you have to do the same with other cameras or not though.

    I didn't read the specs for my camera and ordered the wrong size. It was pretty sturdy and im sure very efficient. I ended up giving it away.

    Bower - Pro Series is an inexpensive tool to minimize sun glare. Easy to attach and remove .. but I leave it on most of the time just to be safe.

    The cap does exactly what it's suppose to do. Just make sure you know the width needed since it is Not a one size fits all.
