I had a JBL ported subwoofer-20 years old. It was so boomy and banging I have paradigm studio front speakers, but every time listening music, It bothered me, I did not know it is cause by the subwoofer- when I volume down the sub, I could not hear base clearly, and when I volume up, I can hear the base but over-extended banging sound killed music. I searched about ported subwoofer and sealed subwoofer for long time, and found that sealed sub is less boomy . I compaired to hear 608 and 610 about 20 Min. but I could not find any difference between two. - only size- probably more listening area for 10" I bought first 610 but I returned and exchanged 2 of 608. After I install the 2 of 608, I knew that Good subwoofer increase the clarity of whole music so much! B&W asw608 -no more boomy, or banging- so soft and clear base support whole music. If you listen music a lot- choose sealed subwoofer and Two subwoofers are better than 1

I have never had a subwoofer until the purchase of this product. Concerned that it would color the sound in stereo listening. I was wrong and the addition to this is great. I have front speakers that play low, down to 27hz, but this adds to the bass just right. It is tight and controlled and blends in to the sound. BTW, I run this out of my receiver via RCA cable and do not connect my front speakers through it.

Purchased to replace my existing system Not only do they look great but the sound is outstanding! Wish I'd gotten the larger one though!

This subwoofer is awesome, it really packs a punch. I love how you can adjust it to each thing you are listening too.

Easy setup and great bass. Looks good and is very easy to setup and adjust output.

This B and W is great Sub bought a open Box for my Receiver Pioneer Elite VSX 44 has 2 subs Polk PSW 125 I would recommend this Bowers and Wilkins The bass sounds great.

This is a good moderately priced Subwoofer with good bass sound and good reliability. I did have another unit which "burned out" after four years but that may have been surge related.

This subwoofer is small in physical size, but has excellent, clear bass quality. At high volume or low volume, quality is the same--little to no vibration distortion.

I have the speaker at half power to fit my room. I am very pleased with the sound quality.

My first sub-woofer purchase so I really have no bases for comparison, but the speaker makes a very noticeable contribution to my new home theater system. It is very heavy, which in general is usually a good indication that it is a quality product, looks good and B&W is a reputable company. There are less expensive comparable subs but I wanted to go with a product that I believed I could be confident about getting quality sound out of. I like "feeling" base in my chest when I'm in the mood to really jam and this thing does it well. It also adds more realism to movies. I'm glad I added it to my system.

I connected my speakers to Mysterio as a 10 inch woofer sounds really great so far no problems everything's working fine

This is my second purchase of this sub. I already have one that I have paired with a set of the B&W 805 speakers. I added this one to the collection and split the subs so each one is on it's own channel. Now the system sound like it has two floor standing speakers. Bowers and Wilkins are an excellent company with great sounding products. Thank you BB for carrying this brand!

I was looking for a good quality sound subwoofer but not so big. This is beyond my expectations. Great sound and discreet presence at the room.

I bought it with M1 set. The system sound incredible for its size. I have put it in big room with cathedral ceiling. All types of sounds incredible.

My five year old Definitive Technologies powered subwoofer bit the dust so I went shopping for a replacement that would do better for music. This is what the salesperson recommended, and I agree that it does a much better job of reproducing the bass notes than my previous subwoofer. Being a bass player that's what I want to hear most clearly. I've had it for over a month and am very pleased with it. I just watched the Crossroads 2013 DVD and could hear the bass players very clearly (and some pretty good guitar players, too).

Very please with this product. Pros. Volume control, auto shut off, great sound. Would be nice to have polished finish but Best Buy was out of stock of ASW10CMG.

Decent product that adds a decent pop of sound to home theater.
