Great Mic

Shoe mount is steady, switchable gain as well. Comes with the foam cover and a dead cat wind sock so it's ready to work out of the box. Just add batteries.

Distance was 50 feet, set on flat and it was a good blend of all frequency ranges, including low end bass. The on board camera mic's don't have the range to pick up the low end, so this was a good recording from that standpoint. I would recommend this mic, for the price point you won't be disappointed.

GREAT SOUND

This has been a huge step-up for my video recordings. I had to a TSSR adapter for my 3.5mm headphone plug but it was no biggie. I'm glad I bought it for my YouTube recording.

Not impressed!
