The Grip-IT Vehicle mount has great suction and flexibility, and has not fallen off during the extremely hot weather. My only complaint is that the flexible arm does vibrate at times, depending on road conditions, and can be a little distracting/disconcerting to the driver.

This was placed in my wife's SUV to hold her phone instead of using her Tomtom. The suction is good even in hot weather. The grip holds the phone at any angle. The gooseneck that connects the mounting bracket to the phone holder is adjustable but is very stiff almost to the point of thinking it might snap instead of bending but it does bend. I guess that is a good indication that it will stay the way you position it,

Purchased three of these for our vehicles. One fell apart almost immediately and will go back (probably defective). The other two - which we've had for over a month & used daily - have been great. College age daughter uses hers fairly often. I use mine daily. Stays mounted, easy to open/close with one hand, keeps strong grip on phone.

excellent windshield mount, fussy phone holder

The suction cup's grip on the windshield is very strong. It can be attached and re-attached as many times as desired, due to the clever suction pump and release valve. The flexible arm is extremely versatile, allowing good positioning for the phone even for very steeply angled windshields, e.g. in a sporty coupe. It holds its position as well as can be expected. The phone holder, on the other hand, is too fancy for its own good. I actually retrofitted a simpler phone holder from another kit onto the windshield mount from this one, and now I have the ideal solution for my needs.

Had it for about 2 months and it's not fallen off my window. The foam to the clamp has fallen off but easily stuck back on. Better glue would be a good improvement. Pro's: Opens pretty wide, able to fit the new wide phones even with case. Sturdy suction to window. Able to maneuver the mounts arm pretty far. Bottom catch bars are nice because you can move for charging cords. Con's: Not that great at keeping an Iphone 6 plus steady while driving. The clamp easily closes making you have to re-open to fit. Don't think the price was right paying $30 after tax.

This mount was about mid range price when we purchased it. It is by far the best mount we have had. It holds very well, it has fallen off the windshield once and it was dirty. If the location and the suction are clean it stays well. The neck is bendable and adjustable, but is stiff enough that it does not droop while driving. It is easily adjustable for width and tightens tightly enough on a phone with one hand.

Big enough to hold my iPhone 6 Plus with a case on it. It tends to vibrate easily and from to time to time driving into a turn at certain angles will cause the vise part of it to fall off the pole when turned horizontally (keep my phone in landscape, not portrait). However it suctions to windshield and seems very sturdy in that regard and for long distance traveling on the highway, no issues at all.

My fiance and I both have large phones and this solved a huge problem we had with all the other mounts but it does vibrate a lot and the part that holds the phone comes off really easily. Now that we have had it for a while we have gotten used to it but it isn't ideal. Just wish it was a little more solid.

    Best Bracket for Windshield Mount

This has got to be the best windshield mounted bracket I have ever had. I have one for every vehicle I own (4). The only two times I have had problems with the bracketron bracket, I contacted the company. In one case they sent me a replacement part at no charge which I got in the mail within 4 days and the other case they replaced the whole assembly at no charge I also got it quickly in the mail. They gave me a coupon for future purposes also. The suction cup sticks to the windshield like you wouldn't believe and the bracket itself is adjustable so it will fit most all phones. Securing the phone when you get in your vehicle is friendly and it is easy to remove when you get out of the car. Not a bunch of stuff to mess with. When the phone is secured in the bracket it, it is no kidding secured.

This is kind of tough to get stuck firmly on the windshield, but once managed, it hold well. The long arm does make positioning very flexible, but there is some vibration. Lots of bounce when offroading, too.

Easy to place and use. Sponge on sides and bottom helps to grip the phone. A bit challenging when using a wallet type cover on the phone but possible. It has held up with a Galaxy Note 4 and bumpy roads.

This vehicle mount works nicely for my iPhone while driving, especially when using navigation on the phone. This allows me to have my phone mounted in a viewable position on the car window without the necessity to hold the phone in my hands while driving. My only complaint is that the mount is a bit difficult to move to the correct position of my choosing while on the window - it's not that big of an issue though, as I don't really move it around that often. Overall, this is a good accessory to have for making driving safer as it keeps your hands free for driving instead of occupied by your phone. Mount expands to hold phones of various sizes, and is easily adjustable and sturdy.

I purchased this just before I went on a long cross country road trip. It enabled me to mount not only my iPod to my dash, but my phone when I really needed to. The 'flexible' extension is amazing. It's difficult at first but once you get it bent in to the proper shape it's going to hold that shape and not bounce around. It allowed me to set my music up within reach while I was driving and allowed me to take pictures of my road trip from the dash. My only complaint is that the cradle for the device releases a bit too easily on bumpy roads. Otherwise I love it and am very glad I made this purchase.

So far the best feature of the mount is that it actually sticks to the windshield. The second best feature is that I can put my iPhone 6 Plus in the holder. The worst feature is that the mount imitates a bobblehead doll on any road but the smoothest. The second worst feature is that the phone moves when I tap the screen, which some times results in nothing happening and other times results in the wrong thing happening. The third worst feature is that the mount for the phone does not attach solidly to the stand. It works, but it could be a better product.

The Grip IT mount I purchased to hold my I Phone was good for the I Phone 5 but when I purchased the I Phone 6 Plus it had difficulty holding it due to the size and weight but it still was doable. When the weather turned really cold, the mount would no longer grip the dash. I like it but I'm hoping it will work better in warmer weather.

The vehicle mount is pretty good good. The suction cup works great. The mount bends very well and doesn't move from what I bent it too. I can fit my S4 with its Ballistic case on it. The only bad thing about it is how much it vibrates. It makes it a little hard to read going down the road.
