Easy to set up, but if you don't have your phone just right it won't charge. It occasionally pauses charging, not really sure why, but as a mount it works.

Good for space saver it does come with wire holder and the option to vent it or on top dash. The magnets are not quite strong enough but the trick is to clean the phone case and the charger

Works well with my new iPhone XR

I have been waiting for some time to put a wireless charger in my car, and finally found one that works pretty well. I just got a new XR, and a relatively thin case so that it can do wireless charging. You just stick a couple of metal strips (provided) to the back of the phone case, and the Bracketron holds it in place magnetically. It seems to charge fine and is great for Waze, although I don't know how quickly it will provide a charge. I stuck mine on a vent with the included clip, and it holds on pretty well so far.

Not Good For Iphone Xs Max

The worker at our local best buy told me this would work perfectly for my iPhone Xs Max but the magnets are definitely not strong enough to hold a phone this size. It is constantly falling off and the magnets themselves barely stick to the phone. The concept is great and hopefully it works better for smaller phones.

It will charge I guess but I couldn't say because it kept falling down and I did not want to tighten it too far and break it.

Worked ok for a week or so but now it charges inconsistently. Blinking red and green when the phones isn’t fully charged. Pretty expensive to still have to plug my phone in to get it to charge. *I travel an hour each way for work every weekday and use my phone as my gps*

Magnets that go on the back of your phone or case make it really uncomfortable to hold to your phone. Just my opinion. Wireless charging didn’t work through my life proof case either. Not sure if it says it supports through thin cases. But all other wireless chargers do.

The magnets are poor and the phone would drop when you hit a bump. Plus the wireless charger which I was assured would work through a phone case did not work through a phone case.

This holder works for about 60% of the time - but often my phone fell with it, off of the heater/AC vent where the it clips onto the dashboard. I was able to clip it to stay in place, but that was only due to finding a precise spot where I could rest it on top of the little handle that adjusts the vent. This meant that I could not tilt it as I would have preferred to view the map. The vent slots bend as a result. And it is not safe to reset the phone without stopping your driving. When it falls, the phone may land on the passenger side floor with the two parts of the holder separate ending up elsewhere. Also, at times the phone would overheat as it charged and/or positioned in the sunlight. So grateful to have a built-in display screen in my new car.

My only complaint is that the setup does not allow for wireless charging through most phone cases. I have tried three different cases and was unable to get the wireless charging ability to work though any of my cases. If I take the phone out of the case the wireless charging works great.... just not through a case and who doesn't use phone cases?

It wouldn't charge through my otterbox with the magnets on. If the sides were recessed it would leave room for contact. It charged fine without the magnets. I returned it.

Overall, the product was a good gift. The one issue was the adhesive on the magnetic plate. The adhesion on the back of the magnetic plates was not sticky enough to hold onto the back of my husband's cellphone. He used another adhesion to make it work. All is well now.

I bought this car holder/charger because it sounded and looked quite efficient. I attached all the pieces to the back of my phone and placed my phone on the mount. Roughly two minutes later my phone fell, one magnet was on my phone and the other was on the mount. The back of one of the magnets ended up falling on my car floor leading to small fabrics adhering to the adhesive. I ended trashing the product in frustration. I believe this mount isn't engineered properly to be sold at stores yet. I do not recommend this poorly designed product.

Hi, this is Kaleb with Bracketron. I'm sorry to hear you had troubles with the magnets from your mount. Be sure to remove all dust from your phone before applying the magents, to ensure they stick properly. Also, some cases have a texture that is not compatible with adhesives. It may be efficient to apply the magnets without the case on the phone. For more help, reach out to [email protected]. Thanks! Bracketron
