A: Hi! Yes, the snap adapters can be attached to the inside of your case.
A: I had these rings to try just this, and they won't work that way exactly. The adhesive is on the side that faces the phone. If you stick it to the car's charging pad with that side, the magnets will actually repel the phone away. And you can't remove the backer on the opposite side, as the magnets are secured to it. You would need to essentially add another layer of tape, and then hope that the peel-off layer for the adhesive doesn't peel off. What I ended up doing was cutting the sides off an old Apple Silicone case I didn't like anymore, and adhering the whole thing down with some good but removable tape. It worked until my wife got a new phone, at which point I just turned off the car charger and stuck on a MagSafe charger (not perfect, but better than the car charger).
