Great car mounting device

Decent dash mount

It would not work on a textured dashboard. The magnetic charger will very slowly charge my iPhone 12 Pro while navigating, but it's not really usable for much more than maintaining power while driving. If you need to charge the phone quickly you'll need a USB port. I wish the ball and socket arm was about 3/4" shorter. My phone is a long way away from the dash because I mount vertically. The gripper for the phone works perfectly on city streets but if you go on backcountry dirt roads, your phone is going to fall out. All and all, I am pretty happy.

AVOID, garbage

Awful

I quickly found that this is cheaply made and prone to breaking. I have went through two of these that both failed in the exact same way: the inner mechanism breaking and giving no tension to hold the device. After the second one failed I just requested my money back and I CANNOT recommend this at all.
