I have been looking around for a mount for my iPhone 7+ with a pelican case for a little while. Bought this one on a whim because I thought it opened up enough to hold the large phone. It supports the phone well and I haven’t had any issues. The one big thing I do not like is that the spring loaded clips on the top are adjustable (which is nice for fitting different size vents) easily pop out when not attached to a vent. I have had to dig through my console for one or both multiple times. Other than that, money decently spent.

I have owned this car phone/GPS holder for over a month. I like it! It really helps me to be able to follow closely the directions to my destination without been distracted from my attention to my driving. It holds my phone very well! It has nice pads and it is very steady!

This replaced a previous version of the same product. The old one broke at the swivel connection. This one, believe it or not, appears to be sturdier. All in all it fits well in the vents for a 2014 VW. The vent mounts are super cheap but they work once you get it positioned right. I use it for a Note 3, which is not affected by the clamp. However, on my MotoX, the volume button is right where the clamp closes. This mount is better for larger phones and devices.

I have had this mount for a couple months now. It works fairly well, the biggest issue is in freezing temperatures, it can tend to not open very easily (very difficult to push button in). Sometimes, I have to push the button in and actually squeeze the mount sides in before it releases. But overall, it has been a good durable product that I would get again if needed. It fit both my iPhone 5 and iPhone 6+ with cases.

3/5 on this product not including a more universal mount: the vent mount may not fit your car's vents. As I discovered recently with a rental Fiat car, some cars' vent panels are too thick for this mount to grab on to. The windshield mount isn't included in this package, so if you find that the car vent mount doesn't happen to fit your vents, you would need to buy a windshield mount separately. (The car vent mount fits my Toyota Camry fine.) 5/5 for the bracket holder: My previous phone/GPS bracket holder held my phone securely enough when the mount was attached to the vents (where it was less bumpy), though the phone fit loosely since I have my iPhone 5 in its case, making it a "thicker" phone to hold. My old holder was abysmal with a windshield mount, and the reason I came to get this one was that my phone/GPS was flying off that holder on a windshield mount every other minute! This bracket holder's tapered design (narrower in front so it traps your phone better) is great with holding different sizes and thicknesses of phone/GPS, which is important when the road is bumpy or when you're using a windshield mount that makes your phone/GPS shakier on the road. I had a windshield mount with my former holder which also snaps onto this bracket holder, fortunately, but this package alone (bracket holder + car vent mount) would not have been enough for the type of car I was driving.

Just bought this prior to a drive across the country. Couldn't be more happy with it on the road. Easy install & easy to hook my phone up to it. I continue to use it on a daily basis, even after I've finished my road trip. The cradle is cushioned, the brackets adjust to accommodate a wider device, or even one in landscape (vs. portrait)! Definitely more than worth the money.

One of the best features of this mount is that it will adjust to hold either my GPS or my Note 3 smart phone, depending on which I want to use at the time. It also has several adjustment knobs that will hold the device vertically or horizontally, and at an angle up or down, toward the driver or toward the front-seat passenger.

I like it, it works great. The only drawback is that it covers most of the vent in my VW Beetle, so it blocks the air flow, but it holds the phone through bumps and traffic making it easier to navigate using phone apps. Easy to put the phone in and take it out

I bought this grip for my wife who refuses to us Bluetooth. Very surprisingly this grip is very sturdy and is able to be adjusted easily. She is very happy with it and uses it daily with little effort. Product very easy to install and moderately priced.

Easy to install and very sturdy. With pebbled dash, other mounts were not working. At least this does what I want it to do. Hold my phone within easy reach. Using it with a Galaxy Note 3.

I use this vent mount to hold my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge securely during trips. The item is easy to mount. It holds securely to the vent blades. It holds the phone gently, yet securely; and it is easy to use.

I purchased this phone mount (about a month ago) because I started driving for uber. I have a 2015 Prius, and so far the item works great. It's simple, and keeps my phone secure while taking riders to their destinations. It took me a good minute to attach it to my center ac vents (tight fit), but its been in place ever since. Glad I went with this one!

First...READ DIRECTIONS! Very simple to install as it comes apart into smaller pieces to make installation extremely easy! I mounted it on my left vent. My power chord reaches over the top of my steering column for constant charging! Perfect when I UBER drive. Don't know why I did not own one of these before. Totally adjustable and easy to use. Believe me, you do not need to expensive ones. LOVE IT!!!!!

I have a pretty big smartphone (LG G4) and this mount is plenty big enough to hold it. It clips into your vent securely, and is much more sturdy than other vent mounts I've had in the past. You can rotate your phone into portrait or landscape orientation, plus swivel it for different angles. I am satisfied with this product.

The Bracketron - TekGrip Vent Mount is great device for keeping my mp3 player and/or phone accessible when traveling. I can do a quick scan of the screen and my wife can easily access it while I drive. It mounts easily on the vents and does not interfere with any of the cables. The device is secure and the grip releases easily.

Works great and holds my GPS right where I want it. East to adjust. Only complaint is the mounting pieces that go into the vent are a little fragile and easy to break and come loose with the springs-those parts are not as strong as the restd.

I wanted a vent mount for my iPhone 6s. This mount was with the gps mounts but it is perfect for a large phone like mine. It adjusts easilly for my daughter's smaller phone as well. The mounting legs fit securely since they are spring loaded, and they rotate for vertical vent louvers, which I have.

I bought this to use in rental cars as I travel about. Depending on how the vent in the vehicle is structured will determine whether or not this device will work with it. Otherwise for all purposes it was designed for, it works great and hold my phone and GPS device pretty securely without damaging those devices, or itself.
