This phone mount worked great for the first couple of months, but the ratchet mechanism that creates the pressure on tje suction cup that secures it tonyour windshield is made of plastic, and not a particularly durable type either. Once one of the little teeth break off, and they will,its useless because the slightest little bump or even accelerating/decelerating makes it pop off every 5 seconds.

GA has the new hands free law, so I purchased this to hold my phone. I mounted it to the window, following all the directions and it seem all good until the car moves. This things kept falling of the window and dropping my phone. Then the arm extension separated from the base that finally stayed connected to the window. DO NOT waste your money on this piece of junk.

This is a perfect windshield mount cell phone holder. It took less than a minute to install and has been completely secure. It's got a suction cup with a little ratchet button that gets it fully suctioned in a matter of seconds. Once it's installed, you can swivel the phone holder for horizontal or vertical viewing. It has a bendy arm which stays where you put it so you can adjust the angle and height. It has arms with foam cushions to protect your phone. Those arms accept large phones (I have S8+, something like 6 inches) and once you click the arms around your phone, you're good to go. When you leave the car, there's a release button right behind the phone, which prevents accidental releases but is still easy to work once you've used it twice. While you're driving, there is some minor vibration, after all, it's hanging by a single arm from your windshield. But there's far less vibration than i excited and my phone is always readable. I used to have my phone tilted in a lower center console, which meant that when i need Google directions, i had to look away from my phone. Now it's up high under my rear view mirror, which feels much safer, as I'm looking inches to the side instead of down near the floor. Great price, looks like great quality, and it couldn't be easier both to initially install and to use everyday, that i wouldn't hesitate to recommend. I now have my phone up even for my daily commute, just in case of construction or accidents, because it's that easy and convenient. Please don't use it for anything other than maps. I know some of you are thinking of doing that. Don't do that. Hang in there a few more years, the self driving cars are coming. Until then, maps only!!! Sorry, off my soap box. This is a great product!

This mobile phone holder is great! It’s plain and not the most attractive device, but it adheres well and is easy to install. It’s very sturdy and doesn’t fall off while driving. It’s also adjustable for different phone sizes. I have an iPhone 6 with an Otterbox case, which adds a significant amount of bulk to the phone. My phone fit just fine, with plenty of room to go, if my phone were even larger. Overall, it operates exactly like I hoped and expected it to.

Good overall phone holder. The suction cup holds well to the windscreen and it is easy to get the phone in and out of the holder. Only issue is that it does vibrate a little since the arm holding the phone is quite long. But this is definitely better that many other phone holders I have tried.

The TripGrip cellphone dock is a pretty great product. For $20 (roughly) I couldn't imagine there being a better accessory than this one. The device was easy to assemble and even easier to install. I also really liked how simple it is to move the dock around the glass. The only downside of this product is its size. It's bulky and takes up a significant amount of windshield space. So, If you don't like the idea of having something partially obstructing your windshield, this is not the product for you.

I bought this product for a move in order to have my phone exactly where I wanted it for the Google Maps. I drive a Dodge Nitro, so it comes with a weird dashboard, not friendly to the regular phone stands. Suction cup is good, has not come off once, The flexibility of the product is great. Only thing I would gig it on is the retractibility of the edges that hold the phone, but I'm just thinking my phone with the case might just be a little too wide. Again, nothing really actually to complain about, probably just being too picky. Overall, great product.

I have a very heavy iPhone 6s that I keep inside of a Morphin rechargeable case,(trust me, that's one heavy combination!) and I like to keep it mounted on the windshield to protect my dashboard from adhesives. This one does the job. I like the design, which is much better than my old one was.The suction cup clamps down super tight and the rod connecting the cellphone to the windshield can be flexed around to any angle or position you'd like! Definitely worth the 20 bucks!

I use gps on my phone all the time. Its an amazing to have the holder steady and easy to manipulate and adjust

I wasn’t sure how this item was going to look inside my car, but after having it for a few days I’m really glad I purchased it. I Love being able to put my phone on the holder and view gps or answer FaceTime. The suction sticks on well and holds the phone without any problems. I recommend this product especially for the price you're getting it for.

Overall, I like and enjoy the product. The suction cup sticks well to my windshield and has not come off since I stuck it on. My phone fits perfectly into the grips and I like that there is some adjusting available. My one complaint is that my phone vibrates with the road as I drive. The phone does stay in place, but there is vibration, making it difficult to see the screen at some points.

Easy to install and solidly holds the my iPhone X. It also stays where you put it but may vibrate a little when it gets bumpy.

I’ve gone through numerous cell phone holders from vent mounts to dash mounts and none are as good as this one. It was very reasonably priced and is sturdy enough to take your phone in and out multiple times a day like I do. The suction cup on the windshield is the mounting method I chose. It’s adjustable so you can keep it lower, out of your line of vision. I love the little fold out feet at the bottom too. It allows you to sit the phone in the holder with a single hand then squeeze the side holders together. I like I so much that I’ve got one under the Christmas tree for my hubby!

This is my second cell phone mount for my car. The first was mounted via my cigarette lighter outlet in car. It did not last long. This windsheild mount is easy to use and feels very stable.

I had a cheaper windshield mount that I needed to replace. This one is much better. The adjustable arm is nice and it's holding up well so far. I have an iPhone 8 Plus and the phone does bounce a bit when on the mount, but not so much that I can't still see the screen (this is what I use for GPS needs). It's also a little noisy when the phone isn't it in. But I have the radio on and it's not a huge deal. You can also remove the actual holder leaving the arm attached to the windshield. That stops any noise. Would still recommend. :)

It held my phone nice, suctioned to the window great and was easy to release with one hand, but I was trying to use it to hold my iPhone 7+ to use as a dash cam and it was just too shaky.

This worked very well with my Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Fits phone well and easy to operate. It stayed on the windshield with no signs of falling and has a very good range of motion to get it set perfectly where you want it. The only problem I found is that on some roads it would vibrate a little more than I had hoped for.

My son bought this for me for Christmas. It holds the phone well. The length of the device means it is reachable and very maneuverable. Having that long arm does mean that there is some vibration but that is the only down side at all. Since I don’t text and drive, I really mostly use it if I need my GPS which is very helpful to not have to constantly look down at my phone. Very sweet and useful device.

We really like using this product. We used this holder as we traveled to NC. We put our iPhone in the holder (including phone case) and it held our phone securely for over 9 hours. We used our phone as a GPS device. Easily to attach to the windshield abs easy to install the phone in the holder. There is a slight vibration on bumpy roads. This did not have any impact on using the maps on the phone. It was just as easy to remove the phone and the holder from the windshield. I recommend this for anyone and the price is good.
