Francis Ford Coppola is a rare kind of filmmaker. This movie is yet another excellent entry from him! It's unfortunate that it seems to have sort of fallen under the radar compared to his other famous movies since a lot of people don't know that he directed this. I'm not sure why Gary Oldman didn't get nominated for an Oscar in this because to me, he was as good (if not better) as any of the other famous Draculas in movie history.

already collect dvd and first blue ray for this movie. The reason of buy new version - need to compare old and new for my better collection. First . compare the picture ( better than other version ) Second . compare the sound ( much better than first issued blue ray ) Third . compare the additional features ( very good - get most original + some ). Finally this version is really good to me, and the price better than Supreme Cinema Series.

I have seen this film numerous times in every format but the 4K disc with HDR is eye popping. It looks as if you are on the set watching things as they were filmed. While it takes some getting used to, the quality is unsurpassed. For those who think it takes away from the film like element the 1080p Blu-Ray is also included. A nice package that sells for less than a normal 4K disc.

Thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Dracula is the sort of villain that represents evil in its purest form. He is convinced that draining the life of innocent people is justifiable. Keanu Reeves is miscast in Bram Stoker’s Dracula, but he doesn’t ruin the movie. The picture quality is vastly superior to the first blu-ray release. Most people expected this to be a horror movie. I remember those fans being disappointed when this movie first came out. Those that were expecting it to follow the novel may have also been disappointed by the changes and additions. I thought that the changes and additions worked for the movie it was trying to be. The eerie effects were creatively and masterfully done to add to the ambiance of the film. A story of love betrayal and redemption. The picture quality in this remaster is definitely an improvement over the original release.

Excellent movie. Part horror, drama, romance. Filmed with old fashioned camera tricks. This is one of the best embodiments of Dracula. Gary Oldman is amazing. The new 4k master easily outclasses the previous bluray in every way. I can't say how the new Atmos track sounds, as I am not equipped for that, but the 7.1 track is excellent and atmospheric. This is the definitive version of Bram Stoker's Dracula.

One of the best Dracula movies ever made. Gary Oldman is a great actor who plays Dracula to the hilt. Great performance! Coppola's direction is first rate! Great cast, directing, screenplay & special effects. I highly recommend this movie to all Dracula fans & Blu-ray collectors. I cannot review the 4k picture not having a 4k setup but the picture & sound is the best on my current setup.

Francis Ford Coppola's vision of Dracula is a classic! I'm a huge fan of actor Anthony Hopkins and he is awesome in this movie. The 4K transfer is solid for those who are considering a purchase.

One of the best film for Mr. Gary! The man of 1000 faces. If you love Oldman's characters this is a must have. Extra footage and documentary on how he gets ready for roles is informative.

I already had this on dvd, but not on blu-ray. The visuals, sound and extras are great. This version is really fantastic with a great story. The added does to a movie what "tragic Relief" does to a play. This movie is very well crafted. The visuals, the costumes, sets...all A+!! Very few weak acting spots. All characters are well developed and add to this romantic-horror story.

Great 4k transfer deep black levels bright colors draculas red robe looks phenomenal the dolby atmos sound is fantastic the scene where Gary Oldman and Winona Ryder are having wine you can hear the drip into the glass

If you want a copy of Francis Ford Copopola's Dracula and you don't already have it this is the version you want. If you own this film already and want to see the exquisite production design down to the last detail then this is the version to upgrade to. As a bonus, this version comes with a few new special features and can be had for around $10 while on sale.

This is, in my opinion, the best Dracula film. Always loved the movie and the 4K UHD presentation has notable improvements over the blu ray thanks primarily to the improved color grading.

I have this movie on DVD. Needed it on Bluray. So 2 birds, one stone and I got this 25thAnniversaryEdition. Really good cover art in a slim black case. I feel this film gets skipped on as 90s drama or sympathetic Dracula. However I still find this film as a wonderful tribute to vampire films that prceeded and should be seen by anyone who hasn't yet.

This is the best looking and sound release of the film. This release has been fully restored in 4K and HDR and with Dolby Atmos audio. The HDR really helps the brights pop and deep blacks. If you are a fan of this movie then pick this version up asap!

Best adaptation of Dracula (IMHO). I have owned this on every format known to mankind and I am particularly happy with the 4k UHD transfer. The colors and atmosphere of the film really pop on this edition. Must have for any Dracula fan.

One of the best 4K presentations I have ever seen, this is the best the film has ever looked on home video! Don't hesitate to pick this up if you a fan of the film!

This is a worthy addition to my 4K library. I had purchased the 4K scanned Blu Ray that had came out a couple of years ago, but was a little hesitant in diving into this new version. Glad I did! It amps up the details quite a bit. Was a rather pleasant upgrade in quality and I am very pleased.

Mixed review with this movie. Transfer wasnt bad…but couldve been better. Still a powerful cast and a great movie..but on the replay factor, its about a 4 out of 10

This is one of my all time faviorite movies - love the gothic feel and the iconic performances (even Keanu!). This new 4k transfer and UHD disc is utterly stunning - the movie has never looked or sounded better. Do yourself a favor and pick this up - you have never seen it like this!
