I have had blenders before but this one is seriously surprising me. It is an excellent product. Let me go deeper in my revision and specify the strengths and improvement fields that I can see of this product: Strengths: 1. It is very powerful. I love that, it does not require a big amount of time to blend perfectly everything, making your smoothie or any kind of juice to be just a few seconds away and just pressing a button. 2. It is very elegant, I love the design of it. A blender can be pretty and this one is a proof of that. With only 4 buttons (and an extra power button), it is very stylish for me. 3 It is very safe! Yes, I say this because it is very easy for a kid to play with a blender and being injured, or if you are distracted, you can be injured yourself. This blender prevents this very nicely making impossible to operate it if you don't have 1. The blender powered on from the front button, and 2, the jug placed on its location perfectly!. It has a total of 4 sensors (that I've seen) to detect if the jug is correctly located. 4. The cover of the jug is also a measurement cup! How cool is this? 5. It is very simple to use... with only 4 buttons and each one of them with its own programming, it simply does what the button say (pulse, stir, liquify, and Ice crush) are the functions and works perfectly. Now, let's talk about its weaknesses: 1. It is very noisy. Don't take me wrong on this one, I know that a blender is noisy no matter what, but this one i believe is a little bit noisier than my previous blender. I understand that also being more powerful makes this reasonable. 2. The jar is plastic. I don't like the cheap sensation that plastic gives to this awesome product, I believe that a glass made jar is a way better choice. 3. Locating the jar so the sensors catch it and make it possible for me to blend sometimes is a process that requires me to check different positions of the jar until I know it will work (because the buttons blink with a green light indicating that it is ready to blend). As you can see, are very minor cons for all the pros you can have with this product. I love it and it is awesome!!!

I've been using this blender a couple weeks now. I've always been impressed with Braun products so it was no surprise how well this blender works. PROS- It's very sleek looking. Very simple yet sleek. - It has great force. It crushes through ice and frozen fruit so effectively and with little effort - Very simple to use. It literally has 5 buttons, one of which is the power button. You have the pulse, liquify, crush ice and stir. - The jar can be used as a measuring cup . Has the option of ounces, mL and cups While it has those great features, it also has a couple downfalls. - The jar is actually plastic, which I really am not fond of and is less durable. -Although I know blenders make noise, this one seems to be a bit noisier. -Sometimes I noticed the blender shook a lot and I had to hold it in place. I was able to test this blender to review and these are my experiences with it.

I have had this blender for about a week now and it works great the first night I got it I wanted to surprise my husband and make milkshakes like we had on our first date and they came out amazing this blender can crush ice very well and blend ingredients very well I love how heavy duty it is and how easy it is to clean the only thing you have to look out for is the very sharp blades while cleaning I've already recommended it to my sisters and mum I love it

I love this blender it works great. I've been looking for a good blender since mine burnt up. My kids enjoy smoothies and milkshakes especially in the summertime when they need something refreshing. This blender has great features I can control the speed by pushing the pulse button. I can also decide if I want a more liquid drink by pushing the liquid button.This blender isn't to loud like a lot of others are. It's made very well and the style is great too. I also like that it's super easy to clean and not to mention very easy to put together. The cord is perfect length it's not to short and not to long to where you are trying to keep the cord out of the way. I am very happy with this blender and we are all enjoying yummy treats being made with it.

I was super excited when my blender was delivered because i live in the heat and milkshakes and icees are a must. Anyway...i set it up immediately and used it to just crush regular ice cubes to test out the crush mode crushed fine with little chucks nothing to complain about. So my son and i made vanilla milkshakes and they came out smooth and creamy. I love that it only has a couple bottons unlike others its really easy for me to use and clean up was simple and easy. I would totally recommend this Braun PureMix Jug Blender to all my family and friends. I love it

I currently have a vitamix blender in our home, when using this blender I noticed it did not handle the ice/liquid/food items as well as the vitamix does. The blender works, but I would not consider this a high end professional blender. I was unhappy with the consistency of nearly every item I tired, I made a shake, baby food, and just crushed ice with the blender. I wanted to try the Salsa recipe in the book but I didn't have the ingredients. Upon opening the blender I noticed there were some cosmetic scratches to the blender jar itself, I was unable to tell if it was on the inside or outside of the jar..but I was sad to see scratches starting off. I definitely would use this blender in a pinch, as a back-up, for parties, or for a rental property but I would not use this as a professional everyday use blender. It took a lot of stopping the machine, to stir it to get it to move the product around, adding more liquid on every attempt still did not give it enough "umff" to stir what was inside to blend it all consistently. The first attempt I made was baby food, it was frozen blueberries, 2 fresh bananas, 4oz baby formula, 1 scoop dry baby rice and some rice. It struggled so hard to blend and I was really frustrated as it wasn't even using real ice, it was frozen blueberrries with milk and soft bananas, I ended up putting it into my beaba babycook pro to get the consistency I wanted for the food. I attached some pictures below. The next item I tried was beating some cooked beats, when I scooped out the finished product I could see LARGE chunks that did not get blended, so I again had to add the mixture to my baby food blender to get it nice and smoothe, I didn't want my son choking. The next item I tried was a shake, ((bananas, strawberries, yogurt, and come ice) it came out ok, but it was pretty chunky ice, i was unable to snap a pic of this however. I also was not a big fan of the buttons, while the blender itself is very pretty, and would dress up any counter, the buttons seemed to stick or had to be pushed very hard to get it to move to the next type of blend option. I was a bit frustrated with it. Overall its a decent blender, but it is in no way a professional high power every day blender.

This blender is great! I've been using it every morning to make smoothies. It makes short work of anything we can throw at it. It's amazing how this can turn skim milk protein powder, ice and frozen fruits into a smooth, creamy treat that tastes like it came from a major chain smoothie place. I've been using a bullet-style Ninja up until now, and it always leaves chunks and puts a lot of air into the drinks. I'm glad I got this one - it's a much, much better blender. It's very easy to clean, but be careful, those blades are SHARP. I have yet to try mixing anything hot, but this seems like it will power through souls and sources with ease. I also like the way it looks. It is a sleek, upscale looking blender with green LED lights on the black base. It is very futuristic and modern. My only wish is that it had a glass pitcher because I feel that keeps the smoothies colder while mixing, but it's honestly a very minor wish. Highly recommend this - it would make a great wedding or housewarming gift. The recipient is sure to love it.

Braun has always been a brand I could trust, so I was interested when I was asked to test the Braun JB7000BK PureMix Jug Blender. We make a lot of smoothies in our home, and I use my blender regularly for various recipes. Out of the box, I was a little disappointed. 4 settings, that's all? The jug, which is a thin plastic, felt flimsy, and well, like plastic. I am definitely on the less plastic, more glass bandwagon. It's a Braun, I told myself, have faith. I used it mostly for smoothies; my family loves smoothies. I worked it hard. I added less liquid than I usually would, and I used only frozen produce. If I was going to test it, I was going to test it, and wow, this blender is a powerful beast! I still wish the jug was glass. Plastic, generally speaking, stains, keeps odor, cracks, and leaches chemicals. A glass jug would put this product over the top for me. I liked how easy it was to use. There were only 4 choices for speeds, and it was perfect. I was pleasantly surprised at how relatively quiet it was, how little it vibrated, and how tightly the jug lid fit. It performed like a professional grade blender. If you are ok with a plastic jug, I would highly recommend this blender. It was a work horse, and I will have trouble returning to my old blender when I send this one back.

I recently discovered through that not all blenders are created equally. I feel like this is definitely a top quality product. You wanna Make your own baby food? This is perfect. I initially only wanted it for that because baby food is incredibly expensive and they can put Organic on the label all they want… I still don’t know what goes into what my baby is eating. Making the food myself, I know exactly what my baby is getting. Not only does it save money, It is healthier. Makes the perfect consistency. It's easy to use and even easier to clean being that it is dishwasher safe!! As a busy mama, I think everything should be dishwasher safe lol. The seal on this is perfect! No fear! So I don’t have to stand there holding the lid lol. Ohh and it says crush ice. Yea, you can have crushed ice or you can pulverize it lol. You can literally make snow if you wanted to. So far, I have made delicious smoothies, Snow cones, baby food, tomato soups and sauces, but my daily thing has been my protein shakes. The fact that this blender can handle so many types of different things sets it aside. I don’t have to worry about it not catching everything or inconsistencies in creaminess. This Blender takes the place of the majority of my kitchen appliances. Because it is so easy to be cleaned, it is used daily.. Sometimes several times a day. I love the look of it as well. Beautiful to any kitchen. It isn't an eye sore that needs to be hidden away in a cupboard when not in use. I actually view it the opposite. I want to proudly display it and have easy access to it. With the power and multiple capabilities of this blender, I would definitely have to recommend it. Especially for Moms. Stop throwing away money and make your babys food yourself. Its up to you what goes in your families tummy. Make the best choice possible. With the money you save doing that, This blender basically pays for itself. I haven't found a blender that did everything the way I prefer until now. Hands down, the very best!

Wow, this blender crushed ice into a perfect powdery snow cone consistency quicker than Bumble himself could. I added a half pitcher of ice cubes from my freezer dispenser, pressed the power button then selected "crush ice". This machine is so fast it obliterated the ice before the cycle was complete so I just pushed the cycle button once more and it stopped. The pitcher is large and only half full made way more snow than I could use for a couple of shaved ices. I felt bad about having to throw out such finely ground ice. My daughter loves those expensive shaved ice snow cone treats and this blender produces the same thing for only a fraction of the cost. I can hardly wait for New Years Eve, this blender is going to make some deliciously smooth daiquiris. When opening the blender my first thought was that it appeared cheap since the pitcher is plastic and the keypad is minimal. However, if it were glass it would be too heavy to use. The plastic is heavy duty and shows no signs of wear after several ice crushing and smoothy recipes. The motor is a bit noisy, but not obnoxiously so, and not as loud as some I've owned. Family members in other rooms were not bothered by the noise at all. This product has been put at my disposal for no compensation and in order to share my honest and unbiased opinion. I own multiple higher end blenders from Waring and Blendtec and I have to say Braun's Puremix Jug Blender gets the job done for everyday healthy smoothie or crushing ice. The noise level is acceptable and buttons are easy to figure out how to use without having to refer to the user guide. It is also easy to clean and put away as it is smaller and more compact than my Waring and Blendtec blenders. I would recommend this blender to anyone looking for a starter blender from a reputable brand at a fair price. It actually has more features than my Waring professional blender that only has 3 settings (pulse, lo, hi) but not as confusing as my Blendtec that had too many features that most people won't really use. Word of caution, the jug bottom is detachable. You can unscrew it from the bottom and remove the bottom that attaches the blades. Yes, the blades are sharp and don't touch it. I accidentally cut my finger and I should have been more careful - my fault. I never found the Waring and Blendtec blades to be sharp enough to cut my finger but maybe I knew those blenders were powerful and never bothered to check closer or dared to touch it. Also, if the bottom of the blender jug is not secured tightly, you can still turn on the blender but the function buttons will not function and will not light up. Good safety feature.

That being said, I had a lot of fun testing this blender out! I was very excited when It arrived! My Daugther and I made smoothies right away! I was very impressed with the "space ship" feel of this blender. It was so easy to use and with just the press of a button the blender was practically done blending and crushing our icy fruit drink of awesomeness! It is very powerful and at the same time, the noise level is pretty low. It has 4 speeds and the buttons are all flush which allows for easy clean up. The blender looks great out on the counter and impressed all of my guests! Pretty much the perfect blender!

This blender handles ANY task at ease with its powerful motor and extremely sharp blades (be careful when handling). Smoothies, Margaritas, crushing ice.... no problem! Operating it is easy and the light up buttons is a plus. The panel is sealed, so cleaning the unit is a breeze. The jar and lid are dishwasher safe (top rack), so no problems there. The unit's style is clean and easily fits into any decor with its upscale design. It definitely looks more expensive than it actually costs. It also is available in stainless steel for those who so desire. All in all, a very good choice for the money that can easily perform on a level of much more expensive units on the market. Definitely consider this blender!

This has to be the best blender I've ever used. Its completely plastic which is awesome because I've shattered a blender before. It has a sleek design and easily comes apart to store. I have a ninja and have sliced my hand open on the blades before. This blender doesn't pose that problem for me. It also crushes ice the best of the two. I've never had a blender that could crush ALL the ice. My fruit smoothie was smoother and blended completely with no extra pieces of protein clumped together. I love this blender and will use it for everything.

I've had a lot of issues finding a good blender that can actually blend fully and not leave chunks stuck in the bottom. This blender completely solved my problem! This Braun PureMix blender does a great job of blending evenly from top to bottom. It includes a base, blender, and lid. The blender has a stir, liquify, crush ice, and pulse settings. The pitcher is very large and is 56 fluid ounces in size. It's BPA Free and can be removed from the base. There is also a small measuring cap inside the removable plastic lid. I was really excited to use this because I make my own baby purees. The blender is so large in size that I can throw everything in and make everything in one easy batch. I got 12 jars of food with the blender only half full before blending! Plus, it only took less than a minute to blend everything completely. This blender is also great for smoothies! I love making smoothies to add some extra fruit into my diet. It does a great job of evenly blending from top to bottom and crushing the ice as well. I haven't used it yet, but I'm really excited to use the ice crushing feature. I feel like it would be great for making home made margaritas or other frozen drinks. Pros: -Quickly blends -4 different settings -Large 56 ounce pitcher -Measuring cap inside lid Cons: -Extremely large base, blender takes up a ton of counter space -It is a bit pricey Overall, this is a great quality blender. It can be used for basically everything and it's great quality. Each time I used it, it blended in a matter of minutes and was very effective. This Braun blender is very light weight. I thought at first it might be plastic and flimsy. My last blender was a Cuisinart and it was quite heavy. But after using it it seems really well made. Now I think it's kind of nice that it's not so heavy! Because I use my blender a lot I keep it out on my counter so it's important to me that it looks good. This blender is sleek and looks clean and stylish on my countertop. The most important thing is that it work well and this one does! I make a smoothie every morning and I didn't realize what I was missing with my old Cuisinart. The problem was when I loaded up with fruit, or anything, it just blends what's on the bottom then I have to use a spoon or something to mix it up and get it down at the blades. Not with this Braun! It pulled everything through the blending blades and mix it up like a flash!! Then I threw in some ice and it was blended in a second. I can't believe the trouble I've been going through making my shake when I could have been using this! Because I use my blender every day cleaning it is also very important to me. It was very easy to clean. I just rinsed it out put the whole thing in my dishwasher. My only concern is if the plastic will start to get scratched and look fogging down the road. Only time will tell. I do like the fact that it doesn't capture a bunch of water in the base when I wash it in the dishwasher. Overall right now I would recommend this to friends but I do want to use it a little longer to try some other things besides my smoothies and also see how it holds up over time. I want to start by saying I own a ninja blender and have loved it. I was given the opportunity to review this blender however and oh my gosh. It has some real power. I have loved it for everything I have made in it. I have used it to crush ice, nuts, make smoothies, milkshakes, and protein shakes. This blender holds enough so I can make my entire family milkshakes in just one go. I've tested it with smaller batches too and its flawless no matter how much I put in. I also love how easy it is to clean. It really works well for any purpose I would ever need it for. I am not by any means a professional smoothie maker and have only used it for a little over a week so I cant speak for how well it will hold up in time but for a housewife this is an amazing blender. I like that I can leave this blender out on my counter at all times and it looks great. Its not big and bulky and doesnt take up a ton of space and it is an attractive blender.
