So durable and perfect for listening to music while travelling or listening to podcasts to fall asleep to. Light and easy to charge. I can't recommend this speaker enough!

This speaker is used at the beach, pool and on the lake in our boat. There has been spray from surf and lake. It has spent hours in the sun with no battery problems. This speaker sounds great and I will be buying as a gift this Christmas.

I was about to purchase the comparable Bose portable unit but I was going to Puerta Plata on vacation and wanted something I could take on the beach and a very knowledgeable Best Buy Audio sales Rep told me about the Braven BRG 1 demoed all the other ones and this little unit blew me away I had a very memorable vacation and it was in part due to the Braven BRG 1 it set the tone ( pun ) intended

Small loudly and Versatile, Really Nice, The Battery Lasts Long All Day!!

As with all smaller Bluetooth speakers, I didn't expect much in the sound department. I was wrong. While it certainly won't be replacing your sound system, what it will do is give you clear audio with crisp highs and full lows. The bass response is really good for a speaker this size, and I was really impressed as soon as the music kicked in. It's loud enough, it's water resistant, and has a good long life battery (which will charge other Usb devices), and is ultra portable. I highly recommend this!

I have had this speaker for over a month now. No problems. Long lasting. Simple usage. Fairly light. Durable. Water proof. Shock proof. Charges other minor equipment. Good bass. And best of all requires no babying... I bought this speaker because I wanted an outdoor speaker that had good quality sound yet I didn't want to have to look over my shoulder every 10 minutes out of care for the thing. I would have gotten bose but I was afraid of the thing breaking. This speaker is great. One thing that lacks is the color selection. This is where bose exceeds but who really cares black and red are still pretty good colors.

I had been looking for a blue tooth speaker for a long time. I love to travel, and want to be able to listen to my music anywhere in the world off my phone. I couldn't decide between all of the different speakers but I wanted something light for my backpack or my carry-on, and this speaker weighs less than 1/2 pound! I kept the box in case it didn't meet my expectations, but I can honestly say, I LOVE THIS SPEAKER! It is great, I took it to my 40 year reunion and several of my classmates also loved it. I highly recommend this speaker. It is also sealed so it can withstand a rainstorm as long as you have the back cover on to cover up the USB and other connections. This is an awesome speaker!

This little Bluetooth speaker is great for outdoor use. It is rugged and solid and sounds great for its size. I have used it by the pool, in my driveway while washing my car, etc. I don't fear when it gets a little wet and I have dropped it a couple of times and it keeps on ticking. The sound is good - doesn't get super loud but what would you expect from such tiny speakers. I like this a lot more than my mini jambox. The Braven is way more versatile.

I work construction and had bought one of those $25 i-home speakers. Those small speakers are good for around the house or quiet areas but not a job site. I needed more umph. This speaker fit the bill. Size is good. Very durable with great battery length. And good sound. I'd get another if something happened to my current one.

I love this thing. Small fits easy in my gym bag. Great sound. We use it outside when we circuit train. It fell off a ledge and rolled down a pavement hill. Never stopped playing and you have to look really hard to see any scuff marks. doubles as a portable charger as well. Another great feaure.

Great product. Excellent sound quality and very durable. I really like that this speaker is waterproof so I don't have to worry about using it at the lake or around the pool. Lasts very long on a single charge. No problems yet.

Bought this for my father, he needed something waterproof and rugged. This fit the bill and it sounds great too. Bluetooth pairing has been a bit of a challenge which is why I only gave it 4 stars.

I love that it's waterproof and the volume can go really loud with good sound. It's durable and a good size.

We were comparing the bluetooth speakers in the around $100 range, which included the logitech UE mini boom, the Braven 1SRG, the Bose for $129, and Sony for $119. Of these 4 units, the Sony seemed to have the best sound in my opinion, but was not an "all weather" design like the Braven. We plan to bring it along on the boat, to the park, etc. The durability and size of the Braven and the fact that it had a USB battery backup for charging a cell phone was the big selling point. It pairs easily and is loud enough to be heard outside while working in the yard. I do have to have my phone close to the speaker or the sound got choppy so range did not seem great. This unit is good enough, but if you want great sound, there are better choices.

For the price it is stylish, water resistant/waterproof, allows me to use it as a back up battery for my phone and I am happy with the sound. I am able to keep my phone in one location and take the speaker through my house without losing connection. I am happy with my purchase.

Awesome speaker, a great feature is that it doubles as a portable battery pack for your other electronic devices. Seems durable, although I haven't had the chance to fully test that part of it yet... Sound quality is good, wish it would be a little bit louder, but there are compromises with a portable speaker

My wife and I bought a hot tub and wanted to listen to music without having to buy outdoor speakers for our home theater system. Went into best buy and the sales rep pointed out this speaker as being compact and completely waterproof. It has amazing sound for its small size and has survived numerous accidents in the hot tub.

I've had the Braven for a few weeks now and it work great. Easy to connect to bluetooth with my Galaxy S5 sound is loud and clear. Used the built in charger to power my phone. Only issue I have had is connecting my Yoga2. Have to add and remove every time from devices to connect again.

I brought this little gem for my boyfriend. Well WE love it. I had been looking for a water proof speaker with good sound and this is it!!! Caught it on sale during cyber Monday!!! The bass vibrates so hard that this rugged little thing fell and keep on going!!!

Been looking for a miini speaker that can handle my outdoor camping trips. The little speaker can handle the outdoor environment and there is big crisp sound from this compact speaker. Another awesome feature is the battery power light...most speakers this size do not have this as an option.
