I always heard this was good. And thanks to Best Buy and their quick delivery system, I was watching this first season in no time!! Great characters!!

In the current tv world where it seems mediocrity reigns supreme, Breaking Bad is a sorely needed breath of fresh air. We are stuck with TV channels comprised of brainless reality shows and anyone can get a tv show with the right connections (i.e., a leaked sextape or being someone's sister) and then along comes Breaking Bad. What can I say? This is the best television drama I think I've ever seen. Intelligent and original. One can only hope that here lies the future of television and not in the mindless drivel they've been giving us. Cranston is a first rate actor and his Walter White is complex and likeable even as a predominantly bad guy. It's a fascinating ride you're on as you watch Walter lose his soul. The rest of the cast is also impressive with the two standouts being Aaron Paul as Pinkman and the young man with Cerebral Palsy playing Walter, Jr. This show is an absolute must see and is addictive from start to finish. First series I've ever watched where the ending was just painful because you didn't want it to end.

If you're looking at this item, it means you've already heard about Breaking Bad. We binge watched the heck out of this series and it will put you through a range of emotions from hilarity, to sitting on the edge of your seat chewing on your viewing buddy's fingernails waiting to see what happens next. It's impossible to over-hype this show. Buy it and see for yourself.

When I say Breaking Bad is one of the GREATEST shows EVER to grace a TV, trust that it is truth. Do yourself a favor and just buy the complete box-set if you can afford it. I promise you're in for a action-packed, darkly comedic and high drama, internal morality battle of a treat! If I were to say anything more it would give this awesome show away, so just get to watchin' already.

This is one of those shows that will live on forever. From the very first episode I was hooked and watched until the end. Breaking Bad is the best tv drama in years, and perhaps ever! If you haven't watched it it is a must see. If you have seen it you know what everyone is talking about. Newbie to the series or dedicated fan this disc is a must own.

I bought this series cause I've heard so many great things about it. Plus it was on sale so it was a bargain. I love the fact how it shows a regular Joe becoming a guy not to mess with. How life didn't go the way it was suppose to but you finally awake to do something about it.

The story starts off slow, but I think that was intended. There are a few points where you are almost turned off by the realistic grotesqueness of the scene you are watching. In the end you are invested in the characters and feel like you care about what happens to them.

Everyone kept telling me I have to watch Breaking Bad because it was so great so I got it and started it watching it. After everyone's recommendations I expected to be amazed. However, after watching other series like Dexter and other Showtime series I found Breaking Bad to be slow moving and a bit boring at times. All-in-all it's worth watching and the overall plot is good but it takes awhile to get into it and you have to watch all the seasons to get the full plot. Good show but maybe it was just built up too much and I expected more.

It seemed to start off a little slow, maybe because it had so much hype. But you have to develop the slower backstory to really develop the characters and motives. It always keeps it interesting enough and next thing you know you can't stop watching!

Although the first season is a bit short, it still packs a great deal of story and build-up for the following seasons. This is one of the best shows on TV in the last decade and having the DVDs is great for people like me that don't have time to always catch episodes when they originally air.

I had seen a couple of episodes early on, but work did not allow me to keep up. The first season was pretty astonishing, given its ability to make you feel, if not compassion for, at least understanding of a meth-producing school teacher. I'm going back this weekend for season two...

The Breaking Bad series is just an overall wonderful series. I actually got seasons 2-6 from someone and all I needed was season one. I was looking at amazon, but then realized best but had it for about the same retailed price. I'm so happy I finally have a complete series!

Cranston and Paul have an amazing chemistry together as both an actor and as their characters play. The plot twists and turns are clever and well done (it never feels forced, "too much", etc.). If you haven't seen this series, you're missing out big time.

My order arrived promptly. I'm always satisfied with Best Buy's customer service. Breaking Bad is an excellent show. I was told a lot about how great it was and I was a bit skeptical but all of the reviews about it were correct. It's a great show.

This is a tough story, not one that makes you smile and feel good inside. It is an interesting story, that has very interesting interactions and a great story line. It is more a guy's story, but it seems women really find it interesting too.

The First Season lays so much groundwork, so it doesn't have the pace of the seasons to follow. However, there are some very important moments that define the major characters & you see Walter White becoming the ultimate Anti-Hero.

I never really had a chance to catch up on "Breaking Bad". By the time I caught on to series I was to far behind to catch up. Buy the first season was to start watching when I had time. I really enjoy series and plan to watch rest.

The best TV series I have ever watched. The writing, acting, and plot are unbelievable. You can tell the series is well planned out and the character development is fantastic.

I'm late to watching this show. I'd never seen it before till I happened upon a season 2 episode on TV. Then I was hooked, so I bought all 5 seasons at Best Buy so I could watch them in order. This really is such a good show.
