We have used one for a few years and liked it enough to buy another one for our place at the beach. Very intuitive controls. Very well built. It does exactly what you expect it to do.

Love this so much!
After hearing friends and family rave about this type of oven, I still wasn’t convinced it was worth the counter real estate, since we already had 2 full ovens.
But, after being home a lot more last year, I convinced the spouse that it was worth trying out, since he wanted an air fryer, and I’m not a big fan of adding any single-purpose appliances to the kitchen at this stage of life. (This takes up less space than many air fryers!)
First, the basics. I have never had more perfectly toasted anything in my life. The air fryer works fine, though we haven’t used that feature as much as expected. Reheated or frozen pizza is vastly superior to a full oven or a traditional toaster oven.
The controls aren’t immediately intuitive if you’ve only used traditional appliances, but we adapted quickly. It really helps that the shelf positions are labeled for each recommended function.
A major motivating factor for us was having an alternative to using a full oven. We are typically just two in the house and live in a climate that’s very hot part of the year. Electricity is also expensive here - so keeping the house temperate is costly in summer. This smart oven gives off less heat than smaller toaster ovens of the past. I even think it gives off less heat than the pop-up toaster (also Cuisinart) that it rendered obsolete.
While it took a minute to learn how each of the settings functions, I appreciate the consistency of results over time.
Last but far from least, it’s super easy to clean, as the bottom is removable.
While a larger household with 2 full ovens might find this insufficient for their needs, it’s a great addition to our smaller household in this climate.

This item is an upgrade from an in perfect condition 8 year old Breville toaster oven.
Air fryer toaster produces phenomenal results, multiple modes are useful. Have used slow cook option with a high quality dutch oven and gained preferred results. Proofing function is beneficial when time does not permit a slow rise. Reheats to imitate freshly cooked. The possibilities are adventurous with air fryer pancakes, roti, omelettes, ochro (Trinidad style), fry aloo, and much, much more.
Convenient to have a countertop oven to monitor food’s progress. I have probably used the stove oven five times since purchasing this Breville air fryer toaster oven. Strongly urge others to read manual, there is great advice in there. Enjoy mine so much that I bought one for my mom for Mother’s Day and my two sisters soon followed suit with their own purchases.
Only challenge is keeping this appliance clean as it is used multiple times of day.

Breville makes solid products, in general. You pay the price for that, though. If you can afford this and you need a mini-oven, beyond just a "toaster oven", check this out. I cook in it all of the time. Multiple settings and features. The only downside is the cost. Very expensive for its category.

Great Oven and Air Fryer, Lousy Toaster, It's big!

First of all, this is a large counter top oven. Make sure you want to sacrifice the counter space to this oven. The good news is that it will accommodate a a 13x9 pan. Controls are ergonomic and intuitive. No keypad necessary, just turn a knob.
Use as an oven: This is a great oven. Suitable for use as an extra oven, it will accommodate most things you use an oven for, including a small turkey. We found that we use this more than our big oven. Be aware the default setting is convection baking. When using it as a convection oven the temperature should be lower (25 degrees lower, typically) and the cooking time shorter than for a regular oven. The oven includes two racks, a 13x9 baking sheet and a pizza pan. Other pans and racks available.
Air fryer: An air fryer is basically a convection oven with a high velocity fan and a mesh rack for the food. One 13x9 mesh rack is included. It works well in this mode, better than most dedicated air fryers.
Food dehydrator: You can use as a dehydrator with the mesh rack - haven't tried this yet.
Slow cooker: you can use this as a slow cooker with a dutch oven. The circular bump out in the back allows you to use a fairly large dutch oven for this. More efficient than doing this in a regular oven, but probably uses more power than a crock pot.
Proofing: It has a setting for proofing dough.
Toasting: Although it is set for toasting bread, the large volume of the oven make it a very slow process. The elements are just not close enough to the bread. Not recommended.

Wow!... This thing gets used daily in my house. We wanted a new airfryer but got so much more with this one! It preheats in no time, cooks everything to perfection and uses less electricity and is pretty darn quiet! If you're in the market for any kitchen gadget that does either of the things this Breville does then I'll suggest this one to you. I've had it for 5 months now and still use it at least once a day.

I've had a black and decker toaster oven for years and decided I needed an upgrade. After reading the reviews, I decided on this one. I am truly happy with my choice. I am able to turn the digital dial to the item I'm cooking, and it will decide if convection heating is needed. The preset times are very close to suggested cooking times but you can adjust it if needed. It cooks evenly and the writing doesn't rub off like on my last oven. I love that the tray pulls out automatically when you open the door but don't let go the door too soon, or it will slam shut.

Bought this to replace an older toaster/air fryer oven. Totally satisfied with the quality and quietness of this purchase. Highly recommended

Works well. You may to move rack for different settings. Changing your mind about temperature or time may cause you to restart the process. You need to set both time and temperature. The unit will shut off after the time set, means that you will need to set the time for an extra long amount if you are not sure how much time you need.
I would buy it again.
