I love my food processor! I got this to help in the kitchen as I expanded my kitchen skills. This has been a great investment. It is more expensive than some other brands, but for me it is worth it. It is very sturdily built, but easy to put together and easy to clean. The base is very heavy and the cord is short, but neither has been a huge issue for me in using it. I've only used the S and dough blades so far but have been very pleased with how they have held up. I wouldn't necessary compare the use of a dough blade to that of a kitchen aid, but it works in a pinch. I personally hand wash all pieces even though it says that SOME parts are dishwasher safe just to be safe and insure long time use.

Excellent FP. Big and heavy so make sure you have room on the counter. The slicing blade is adjustable. I replaced my 20 year old Kitchen Aid. I was on the fence, but so pleased. Glad I waited for the item to be restocked. I don't think you will be disappointed with your purchase.

This is by far my best food processor (my 3rd). It has the power to cut, grate, process and blend every food. I love it for nut butters. I highly recommend this food processor.

From the opening of the box, I could tell the Breville Food Processor was the real thing. Just the motor assembly weighs almost 15 lbs. the whole setup is high quality and when using it makes very little noise. Great product

This is an early review. I have used this a few times & I am pleased with the quality of this product. The base is heavy duty & the clean up is so easy. It makes creamy hummus too .

Wow impressive item. Looks good too. Needed the bid and powerful and this is it.

The cole slaw I made with the coarse side of the shredding disk came out great, the pastry dough exactly how I like it. It's big and heave and they don't recommend you put the removable parts in the dishwasher, but clean-up is fairly easy.

This Breville food processor is well made. Has all the features and powerful electric motor, that should last us indefinetly. Great buy.

After some serious research, found this brand to be superior to Cuisinart. Kept reading how bad the reports were for Cuisinart and how well constructed this brand is!!!

Very good quality. Easy to use. I highly recommend this food processor.

Just been amazing so far. My wife has made some bomb and healthier vegan ricotta with this. So good, we think we can change the plant based cheese industry. Just saying. This thing makes being vegan pretty darn fun. Haven't ran into problems yet. We're planning on making lentil patties with it next.

I purchase this Breville 12-cup food processor to replace an older, 11-cup food processor of another brand. This Breville costs a bit more but beats the competition: - it is very solid - the bowl is sealed - the bowl and lid lock easily, without a fuss - the motor is powerful - the slicing blade is adjustable - it is easy to use, just power on and select continuous or pulse action - the work bowl has a pouring spout and volume markings - it is easy to clean I have used the Breville food processor for slicing, shredding and mixing. I have chopped onions, made salsa, made pie crust, dumplings, and more. I recommend it!

We have had this for about one week and the results have been very good. It makes cooking a lot easier and we use it to make carrot cakes that we used to only get from Dim Sum restaurants. It cuts mushrooms perfectly, too. The build quality is quite solid as far as I can tell. Yes it does cost a bit more that's why we bought it only when on sale. (still more expensive than competing models.) But the quality is worth the additional costs. It has the perfect size and power for our family's needs. We did review a Youtube video done by a professional chef, you may search for it to compare against other models or get an idea of the size. We are very satisfied with our purchase.
