I had no idea toaster ovens did this, so it may not be unique to this brand. I couldn't handle it. Then the a heating unit broke and I had a hard time ordering a new one. I wanted to use it in the summer instead of the broiler on the stove, but it just didn't work out.

Poor rack design

The rack slides out SO easily that my parents had repeated times when their food fell on the floor because it was so slippery. User would have to be VERY careful and pull rack out slowly and carefully. We upgraded to another Breville which is much better.
