One of the best toaster ovens on the market. I have only turned my oven one once since purchased.

We purchased this oven for employees and customers that enjoy Bagels. So far, so good.

Works fine. Takes longer than a toaster to toast. But in the end works fine

Save space but when you toast beast the smoke leaks out

The Compact Breville has a much larger footprint than the "Mini" Breville but has marginally more functionality. I ended up returning it and buying the mini model.

Finally decided to get rid of our basic toaster after eight years for something bigger and better....and I couldn't be much happier with my purchase! Purchased online, got free shipping to my house, arrive in 4 days. Perfect size for what we needed, fits right on the counter, and looks great. We went from two slices of bread to now being able to fit six! Only thing I wish it had was some sort of catch/latch on the door so when you open it the tray comes out partially to make it less risky getting hot thing out. Otherwise, no complaints, extremely happy!!

The oven was left on my front porch in the vendor box, but no shipping box to conceal its contents, showing a picture of the toaster oven and the brand for anyone passing by to see.

After researching toaster ovens for a long time, I decided to buy the Breville 650. It is highly rated on Consumer Reports and many other reviews. I set it up following the instructions. The timer worked perfectly and the heat level was clear on the display, however, the heat never turned on. I tried numerous times, but it did not work. This has certainly been very disappointing, inconvenient and frustrating. I may buy a second one to try. This could be the only one that never worked. When reviewing all of the other toaster ovens, none get the praise and excellent ratings of this Breville.

Broiler has short timer and doesn't reheat quickly

Warranty expired in May 2020; it died in July 2021. It seems to be a common problem; error code E01. E01 is an internal circuit issue that only Breville can fix. I was advised to just buy another one if it was out of warranty. Wish I had researched this more. Would never recommend it to anyone.

The toaster oven was delivered in its original box. That box was ripped halfway open. It should have been secured in another box. Very disappointed how this arrived. I can only imagine how it may have been mishandled during shipment. And I am concerned it will not last as long as it should because of that packaging and handling. Will not rely on BB shipment next time.

Good Compact size, has great features, and easy to use. Also it's very easy to clean.

I've only used it a couple of times since it arrived, but it warms up (preheats) quickly, cooks evenly and the features are easy to use.

I was excited to get this item in the mail but when it arrived it was damaged.I was so disappointed

I was looking for a tabletop oven to use instead of my big oven for small jobs, but everything else that I found was a toy compared to the Breville. This thing is like a real oven, not some cheap toaster. You select the function (bake, broil, etc) and everything else is digital. It turns on just the elements that are needed for that function, and starts to preheat. When the preheat is done, it dings and starts the countdown timer. Nothing else that I found had this preheat signal feature; you just have to guess when the preheat is finished and hope that the oven is hot enough. That feature alone is worth the price for me. Everything I have baked in it so far has been perfect; it bakes small fish filets better than my big oven. So far I love it! My advice: Spend the extra money for the Breville and don't look back! And Breville makes a bigger oven if you need more space inside.

I love this toaster oven. I searched and searched and read all of the reviews and this was the one I decided on. I really wanted one $100 cheaper but you get what you pay for. I do have some confusion about the time/temp button and the on/off. I'm still trying to figure it out. Also still trying to figure out what the best settings are for what I am making. I've yet to figure out how to make my sweet potatoes but I keep trying. It's just a really convenient product and I have not turned my oven on once since I've received it. I do recommend it even though it is complicated.

Perfect size for our kitchen. Many functions. Makes good toast, good job on baking.

This little toaster oven is perfect for me. It is so versatile and easy to use. I rarely use my oven any more. Breville is a great company and they stand by their products.
