This coffee maker smells terrible and has a terrible taste to it! I have tried calling the store for months with no luck. Ow I see it is not returnable . Horrible!!

It broke the third day unfortunately and it’s $40 for a replacement

I've had my new Brim 8-Cup Pour Over Coffee Maker for a week now and I am love in with it. I have been looking for a replacement for our old coffee maker and this one fit the bill perfectly. It brews clean tasting, coffee house style coffee fairly quickly and it is also very easy to use. I also love that it has an automatic-off feature so that I don't have to worry that I forgot to turn the coffee maker off. I look forward to my morning cup of coffee every morning and this coffee maker does not disappoint.

Being a long time user of a standard pour over coffee maker, I was excited to try an automatic version. I was not disappointed. It's easy to use and actually makes the coffee taste better! I prefer to use the paper filters, but it works well without, too. It's also very sleek and pretty, and is a nice addition to my kitchen counter.

This is my first automatic new in a long time. I ditched the old Brauns and Krupps because the taste was meah. I have been doing manual pour-over for a decade. A friend told me things had gotten better. So, I started researching. This model came up in Business Insider, but nowhere else. Reviews were exceedingly positive, so I gave it a shot. The brew is fantastic. The dozen or so holes the create a rain shower over the grinds produce a smooth, rich, consistent flavor. There is a scoop that nicely defines the coffee to water ratio. I like my coffee strong, I round the scoops slightly. I use coarse grind on my burr grinder and a dark roast bean. This machine brews more consistently correct coffee than my Chemex pour-over. It takes the variability out of the process. The one thing the machine does not do is prevent the second cup left on the heating element from getting a little more bitter than the first cup. I recommend putting the coffee in an insulated carafe immediately after brewing. Honestly, I don't know how any heating element is going stop the coffee going a little burnt.

Love this coffee brewer! The complete opposite of what we would get with our previous coffee makers, in the comfort of our own home we can brew barista quality coffee every morning! This is by far the best coffee I have ever brewed in my own home. My family and I have been using our new Brim 8-cup Pour Over Coffee Maker for a little over a week now and are absolutely amazed with the crisp bold coffee flavor and the perfect delicate texture. I love the sleek, nontraditional design that doesn’t take up that much space on our counter top and it looks great in my kitchen with my stainless steel appliances. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for an easy to use coffee maker that brews perfect quality coffee every time!

The clean taste of the coffee brewed by this simple pour-over is unmatched. We used the paper filters and loved that there was no distracting flavor added to our brew. The amount of coffee it makes is PERFECT for two adults who need a jolt of morning caffeine but don’t want to waste any. The time it takes to trickle though is worth the wait and the sleek, simple design and function is perfect for minimalists. The only thing I would change is that the beaker-style carafe could use a sturdy handle for ladies like me whose hands won’t grip all the way around the insulated neck. I guess if using two hands to pour coffee this good is the price I have to pay, I’m glad to do it.

As the only coffee drinker in my house, I have been using a single cup brewer for adequate, yet not a quality cup of coffee each morning. I am kind of amazed at how simple this coffee maker was to use and the quality of coffee it produced. It was full bodied, thick (not watery and thin flavored like my coffee maker) and full flavored. It was a little stronger than I was used to drinking so I have been using less coffee as instructed. I am really impressed with the quality of the brewer itself and its modern design looks pretty sitting on my kitchen counter. I would definitely recommend this pour over brewer to the coffee lovers.

This coffee maker is SO convenient. The water heats up quickly and my coffee tasted amazing. Super easy to use and the clean up is easy. The only thing I found was there isn't a water line for 2 cups. I usually only brew 2 cups so I just estimated but it worked out perfectly. My dad hand pours his coffee so i'll have to let him know about this awesome machine!

Stylish addition to our new kitchen We recently renovated our kitchen and we wanted to upgrade some of our outdated appliances. The Brim 8-cup pour over coffee maker is the perfect replacement to our old coffee pot. It looks so much nicer and the coffee tastes better.

Once I tried this pour over coffee pot I have not gone back to my regular pot. I have a great coffee pot that I love, although i was interested in the pour over method and how the slower process affects the bloom and flavor. Who doesn't want smoother, tastier coffee? I was amazed! This pot creates the perfect cup of coffee. There is no bitterness at all. It is smooth and light. Just delicious! If you love coffee you have to try this Brim pot. Anyone who visits I make them do the taste test... these are true coffee conisouirs... and everyone is taken back at how tasty the coffee is from this brew. For the price this is a must try for yourself, but also a gift for friends who love coffee that would never think of trying a new method. You will love it and they will love you. MGZ

My husband and I are really impressed with this coffee maker. It has a much sleeker design than traditional coffee makers. The coffee is stronger and more flavorful compared to our old coffee maker. We are still not exactly sure how it manages to make better coffee than any other coffee maker we have ever used! It also makes the coffee very quickly. The only downside is we have to put the coffee pot over the sink to remove the filter. It does come with a stand to put the filter in, but there are holes in the bottom of it. Ultimately, the choice is to either get coffee on the counter or take it to the sink and let the coffee drip into the sink from the filter. Regardless, we love this coffee maker and would recommend it to anyone!

We love strong coffee and this did not disappoint! It was easy to clean and brew and compact to store off counter if you wanted.

This is a great little coffee maker! I would have given it five or more stars except for one minor complaint. The warming plate is only on for 30 minutes. This is a non issue if more than one person is having a cup. Otherwise you will need to warm your second and \or third cups in the microwave.

This is the most amazing coffee maker – with just the press of a button I have coffeehouse quality coffee. Never going back to k-cups again!

The other reviews are true, the Brim 8-cup Electric Pour Over Coffee Maker makes great coffee. The ease and convenience of this machine makes coffee making fun...until you break the glass carafe. After this unfortunate incident befell our family, we were extremely disappointed to find out that Brim did not make a replacement carafe, forcing us to find other alternatives. No, Brim, we were not going to simply buy another coffee maker. That is horribly wasteful and, I would think, against your stated environment ethic. To add to the sad fact that Brim could not foresee the eventual breakage of a glass carafe, the "customer service" I had to endure to discover this was painful, including several incomprehensible emails where the representative asked for the serial number of our slow cooker (coffee maker=slow cooker?), and a 10-minute wait for a representative on the phone that ended in the system telling me it was too busy to process my call and then hanging up on me. Sigh! Not sure the coffee is worth it.

Instructions terrible. You cannot go on line for warranty. Slow to perk both pot/and single serve. (even after cleaning.) terrible.

Brim does not give good or any support for customers that will need replacement products because of things breaking in a short amount of time. Suggest not purchasing any items with the name Brim on it. No warranty work has been honored for my broken Brim item after only a few months of use.

Machine was good, till carafe broke, and no replacement carafes available…. So have to throw away and buy new… Also, machine turns off after 30 min, so coffee gets cold fast. Can’t recommend…
