Easy to use and beautiful coffee maker
||Posted .The coffee taste so good! Coffee temperature is perfect and taste is very fresh! My husband and I love this coffee maker

All the benefits of pour over without the hassle
||Posted .Huge difference from my small drip coffee pot to this one, the flavor is so much smoother, plus it's an attractive coffee pot to have sitting out all the time. My only complaint is that the heating pad only stays on for 30 minutes after brewing, so if you're a slow drinker like myself, you'll have to make a couple smaller batches instead of one large one otherwise it'll get cold, but it's not too bad since the idea is to be drinking fresh coffee anyways. Noticed that with finely ground coffee the mesh filter doesn't seem to catch everything, so we use the disposable filter also, again, not a bad thing, just something I thought was worth noting. Overall it definitely converted us to pour over, minus all the hassle!

Love this coffeemaker!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. We are so pleased with this automatic pour over coffee maker. We were hesitant since we do our own, but the quality is just as good. And, we can still do pour overs ourselves with the carafe if we choose. The grip of the carafe is not a problem for us. Super happy. Highly recommend it.

Great coffee
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I absolutely love this coffee maker. Though, I know if the glass breaks they’re not easily replaceable so be careful. This happened to my friend and they contacted the manufacturer to no avail.

Avoid, manufacturing defects & Brim doesn't suppor
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. If I'd written this initially after purchase it would've been 4-5 stars, I like the ease and simplicity of use while still making a pretty good cup of coffee. True the filter holder is plasticky and kind of gross but I soaked it in boiling water a few times and it improved but it is still too hard to clean. The reason for the 1 stat review is because of Brim the company and their service, our initial carafe broke while on the machine staying warm (crack at bottom corner) and they replaced it for free - I was pretty impressed...but then the second one did the exact same thing in the same place. I've now seen other reviews stating their carafe broke in the same place indicating a definite defect of some kind. Brim customer service denied a replacement, told me not to contact them about this serial number again and will not/does not sell them. In the trash it goes.

||Posted .Coffee doesn’t have a burned taste after done but doesn’t stay warm for long.

Makes a great put over.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. After reading reviews was not sure but so glad we tried. Great cup of coffee. There was a funny smell but found out it’s not in the coffee or machine but the rubber sleeve holding the carafe. No big deal. Great quality.

Q: QuestionIf you brew 1-2 cups, does the coffee taste as good?
Asked by Marilyn.
- A:Answer The machine starts at 4 cups which is 20oz. When I brew this amount the resulting brew is a little under extracted due to brew time being shorter. In these cases, I will make the grind finer to extract a little more. You will have to play with your grind for your own tastes. Per manufacturer, “optimal” settings on the machine is 7 cups(35oz) with a medium grind.

Q: QuestionCan I use a paper filter with it? Which size?
Asked by Eddy.
- A:Answer Yes a 4 fits perfectly. Love it so far good hot coffee.

Q: QuestionIs the water measured and timed like it would be for a handmade pourover? For instance, does it do a 45s bloom?
Asked by JW89.
- A:Answer The water is measured but I wouldn't say it's timed. It basically boils whatever amount of water you put in it, and drips the water out over the coffee like a very slow pour over. It's only an on/off function so all control is with the amount of water and coffee you use. But it's lovely to watch the water bubble up and the drip shower, and it makes a great cup or 8 of coffee.

Q: QuestionI have always loved my brim coffee pot. So disappointing now that it makes terrible smelling coffee. I have done the vinegar cleaning and it still smells terrible. I made a single cup of pour over coffee, no bad smell. Bad plastic??

Q: QuestionDoes the water at any point come in contact with any form of plastic? Thanks
Asked by Ryan.
- A:Answer Yes. The water tank, spout, and delivery system is all made of plastic.

Q: QuestionI do not have a grinder. When ordering coffee, would I choose manual drip or auto drip? I am guessing auto drip is for the other style coffee makers, and this is more of a manual drip model since it simulates the pour over method.
Asked by Robin.
- A:Answer Hello, thanks for reaching out. It is auto drip. Have a nice day. The BRIM Team.

Q: QuestionWhen its powered on and you unplug it, will the machine be on when you plug it back in, or would you have to push the power button again to turn on? I want to use a smart plug, that's why.
Asked by King.
- A:Answer You would have to power back on.
