Amazing scanner. Its fast and does double sided scanning very quickly. Not to mention high resolution scans. I in particular love the workflow capability. It made scanning quick and painless. The only flaw it has is when scanning multiple pages, the feeder may not grab the pages in order. You have to be careful to feed the pages in a stangered manner. But even with that I was able to get it to work just fine. I just wish the feeder was as easy to setup like my copier. But for the price and speed, it was a great compromise. I was able to scan 200 photos in no time.

This little scanner is just great - it is fast and scans both sides at one time - I was so impressed. It works wirelessly so you don't even need to attach it to a computer. Everyone in my home scans with this. Definitely a great scanner.

Love the speed, ability to do one or two sided. Still learning it and hoping to find new ways to make my organization of files easier and more efficient.

easy to set up, scans multiple pages at once and you can pick a folder on your computer for it to automatically drop files to which is great- also obviously light and portable.

This is a great little scanner. I like the wireless functionality and small the footprint. I’ve used faster scanners but they were big and bulky. This one I just keep in a drawer until I need it. I did notice that it works better when you use the recommended software. I’m using a Mac and got the software on the App Store. It’s not the greatest software, but it works when I need it. I wouldn’t use this scanner for large jobs, but for scanning personal mail and some work documents it’s great. Much faster than using my phone to scan.

Fast scanning. A little complicated on set up as instructions are not very clear, both manual that came with the scanner and the online instructions. I should further mention, Brother USA site is extremely slow and also not clear in navigation in finding what one needs. I was forced to call and even when talking to representative and navigating thru the site it was slow. Once set up it is very fast and great home scanner. I am comparing this scanner to a Fujitsu scanner that I still have. The Fujitsu is better at set up and easy but it is slower.

Very easy set-up and the scans come out clear. I wish there was an easier way to scan multiple pages into a single document, but it's not a deal breaker.

I was looking for a photo scanner to digitize my photo collection. One with a feeder to make scanning thousands of photos easier. This scanner not only met these requirements it easy very compact as well. The only negative is many photos come out slightly darker and redder than the original. I’m sure there is an adjustment for this however I have not found it yet. I would still recommend this scanner.

I had a Fujitsu ScanSnap for 12 years and I finally had to replace it but the price was too HIGH. I have had good luck with Brother products in the past so I decided to purchase this scanner. It's super compact footprint on my desk is a real space saver. The different ways to connect (ie: wired or wireless to computer or to WLAN) to your computer are a super convenience factor. I have stacked 25 pieces of paper at a time to scan and it only grabbed two (2) papers once. It was three different workflows that you can set up. It is a great little product that I am glad to have purchased.

It is compact and scans quickly. The feeder stands up easily and if you forget to flip out the paper feeder guides for the side-to-side stabilization, it will feed crooked. There is a switch for rear leading paper to front loading cards but I don't see why it doesn't just do that automatically. When it is asleep loading paper wakes it up automatically so that is nice. If you close the feeder tray it appears to shut down and wake up when you open it back up.

The scanner is good for its purpose: a MOBILE scanner. I've scanned over a thousand documents and they all came out fine, not the greatest. The auto de-skew is slightly lacking as it can include unwanted gray areas and only works well when scanning as JPEGs not PDFs. The tray is finicky & loose. When scanning, it will lose alignment. **I'd recommend spending more than this**

Small scanner made of plastic. Thought it might be fragile, but seems to work fine - just don't drop it. Makes very clear scans and is very fast. Can't beat it for the $.

If you are using Windows 10, this is a fairly simple setup and is a fast scanner depending on resolution settings. PaperPort and Nuance Products are a separate download that is enabled when connected to the scanner. Good software, not thrilled with the installer of the third party software. Does have Linux drivers but organizer software support and scanning software is not supplied. Haven't yet gotten it to work with Paperwork open source software.

So I bought this to scan a huge amount of papers and found out that ever paper I scanned ended up slightly at an angle. I tried to adjust the paper feeder and no matter what I did it was all slightly off which bothered me more than it should have. Thats's why I had to drop it a star. I like how it was completely wireless and also had a function for small cards like business cards.

So I use this scanner for Neat to keep track of expenses. If your scanning a standard sheet everything is great, but when you scan receipts it gets messy. The quality of scan is great and the options with the installed software is great too. Works well with Neat Scan Utility. Just not so great at scanning multiple receipts usually have to send them through one at a time. I would invest in the next model up to see if it’s capabilities for receipts is any better.

I bought this scanner to free up space on my desk and I use it exclusively for document scanning. It replaced a Canon all-in-one printer (a color laser printer replaced the printing part). The scans are very fast and both sides are scanned at the same time and the output quality is very good for documents. I don't find the touchscreen to be too useful, but the Brother software on Windows 10 is easy enough to use. I'm using it via wireless (setup with a USB cable). The paper guides were a little fiddly at first, but I think they're set properly now.

Good scanner, the UI could use some work but overall it works very well. Lately have been running with some network connection issues, but not sure if it is the scanner or my network... either way, I recommend it.

Portable and wireless scanner that works great. I have used it on multiple occasions and never had a problem downloading my papers into a file
