I was excited to try the Brother - DS-640 Compact Mobile Scanner but the only problem was I couldn't get it to connect to any device. Mac and Windows! Nothing would recognize the scanner. The whole trying to set this device up really caused a headache and still it is unusable.

easy to use and portable; scanning does take about 1 minute longer than expected as you have to click on the app in computer instead of pressing the button on scanner to initiate scanning

I like the compactness. Drawing power from the 1 connection to the computer makes things simpler and more efficient. Image quality is good.

I love this easy to install and use document scanner. I have a scanner on my printer and it has never consistently worked. So I bought this portable scanner and wish I had bought it sooner.

Bought this to scan documents and receipts for a house my wife and I are building. Works great! The only thing it can’t do is feed multiple documents at a time so it can be time consuming.

This scanner looked like exactly what I was looking for however I’ll never know as I didn’t even open it up. I returned it because my tax advisor suggested using something else.
