Great product!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I fell in love with this laptop. Although it was high price and the items were separate, it was beneficial for me. If you are into digital art and a multi-tasker, this is for you.

Solid keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This keyboard is exactly what I was looking for! I love my surface pro 6 but I wanted to have it function more like a laptop than a tablet. This keyboard allowed me to do that. However, after using it for a few weeks I've noticed that the track pad cuts out every once in a while. That is why I can't give it five stars. It's frustrating when you are moving your finger on the track pad and the pointer isn't moving on the screen. I do also think they should've made the keyboard a bit heavier, my surface pro is quite heavy in comparison. It really hasn't effected the functionality of it at all though.

Cool Keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a pretty cool keyboard and it a bit better for larger hands. It is a bit annoying that it can't be charged when it's cradle to the tablet and has to be charged independently, but it does hold a charge for a very long time.

Good value wireless keyboard for Surface Pro
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this wireless keyboard to accompany the purchase of a new Surface Pro 7. The Surface Pro replaces a years old Dell laptop and one of my wife's requirements was a physical keyboard. Set up and pairing was straightforward and the keyboard is working well. We don't require it to do anything fancy and the only difficulty my wife reports is getting used to the touchpad. Overall very satisfied with this purchase and we haven't experienced any of the issues I read about in other reviews.

Finally get a laptop but some caveats
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always had a love/hate relationship with my Surface Pro. It really is awesome to have that small form factor and tablet mode for school work. However, when I just want to enjoy using it as an actual laptop on my lap, it was uncomfortable. The Brydge 12.3 Pro+ solves that issue. There are some caveats to this. The unboxing experience was simple enough. You open it, and the keyboard is inside. It comes with a USB-C charging cable (no charging brick). I really liked the design of the keyboard itself. It almost has the design aesthetic of the Dell XPS 13 keyboard. The top is plastic with a metal base. The build quality is excellent. It's got some heft to it but it's not overbearingly heavy. Mine came with 70% battery charge right out of the box. I still decided to charge it. I applaud companies that are pushing USB-C because it really is the future...That being said, the annoying part is that I do not have any USB-C charging brick. I only had USB-A to USB-C cables. I am also using a Surface Pro 4 which does not have a USB-C port. I instead connected the keyboard to a Macbook Air and charged using that. The current generation of Surface Pro 7 have USB-C so it is possible to charge from the Surface itself. I thought this was important to know. Setup was easy. You attach to Surface device to the hinges. You press the Bluetooth button on the keyboard to enter pairing mode. You open up Bluetooth settings on Windows and pair the keyboard. Done. The hinges are fairly stiff which is what you want. Using the touchscreen doesn't create excessive wobble. Most importantly, you can use it on your lap! You also get much smaller footprints as you don't need a hinge. Although the hinges do go flat up to 180 degrees, I would say if you bend it beyond ~150 degrees, you start to get imbalance. The weight of the Surface Pro starts tipping it over. As the Surface Pro is a full device and not just a display, it is tricky to have stable hinges beyond a certain point. You would have to have a much heavier keyboard base. There's that tradeoff between weight/stability vs. portability. The typing experience on the keys was decent. The layout is nearly identical to the type cover. The feedback and travel were decent. The keys are similar in size to the type cover. The backlight is similar to the type cover with three levels of backlight. The trackpad feels decent as well. They have Windows Precision trackpads which means all of the multitasking gestures are supported. The finish is nice and the click is satisfying. While the physical use of the keyboard and trackpad was fine, I did have a problem with the latency. Typing and tracking is not smooth. It is very static, and tracking is sometimes off. It was still very usable but not what you want to see from something supposed to replace the type cover. I do not know if this is because my device was a Surface Pro 4 and if the keyboard is more optimized for the newer ones. The battery life is advertised as 6 months of use per charge without backlight. This is with 2 hours of use every day. With backlight, it is about 40 hours of use per charge. I cannot yet confirm the 6 months. However, I can say that with backlight, it does average 40 hours per charge. All in all, the experience was good. The biggest sell of the Brydge 12.3 Pro+ is the ability to turn the Surface Pro into a traditional laptop. It does do that but with the problems mentioned above. This product was designed in partnership with Microsoft which makes it all the more frustrating. Microsoft could have allowed the keyboards to connect via the pins. This would have solved the latency issues and the need to recharge. Although they may be reluctant as that would make it too similar to their Surface Book lineup. That being said, there just aren't any alternatives other than buying a Surface Book/Laptop if you want the laptop experience. If you do not mind the latency issues, then this would be a great option. Pros: Turns Surface Pro into a laptop = can use on lap Small footprint Good build quality Key layout is nearly identical to type cover Key feedback and travel is decent Backlit Windows Precision Trackpads (multitasking gestures) Decent battery life without backlight Cons: Can tip over if you open beyond 150 degrees Some latency/lag issues with typing and mouse tracking Need to recharge keyboard separately

Wireless Keyboard for Surface Pro 6
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first, I really liked this keyboard. The hinges were very sturdy when I put on my Surface Pro 6 and it did not budge or move from its place. It made my Surface Pro 6 feel like a laptop. Another thing that was great was the easy Bluetooth connectivity. Other features that I liked having were the backlit keys and long battery life. However, one thing that I did not like which made me return this product was the touch pad. The touch pad would cut out quite a lot and was very laggy. I tried different ways to fix this problem but nothing worked.

Good overall.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this because there currently is not a model laptop that I think is best overall. I love the surface book 3 but it is too large. I like the surface go 2 but it's too small. I tried out a surface laptop go and it was great except it doesn't support the surface pen and i really like having a device that can do it all. My hesitation with the surface pro 7 is the same as all other windows tablets in that they dont hold themselves upright well when used as a "laptop". Enter this accesssory. It pairs easily and works great. Solid foundation for lap use with the Surface Pro 7. The charger allows me to use my usb-c port from the computer to keep it charged. If I were Microsoft I'd make an official accessory that utilizes the connector port and not rely on bluetooth but his works for my needs.

High quality keyboard for your surface
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great keyboard for the surface! Great quality material, and really makes your Surface go from good to great! The keyboard holds on great, and is very tough. At first I was afraid my surface would just fall out, but that is not the case. If you are looking for a great keyboard for your Surface this is the one.
