You press the function button and the delete button. I wish they set a dedicated power button, but I'm being super picky at this point. Pairing it is as easy as pairing any bluetooth device. You hold the bluetooth button down for a few seconds, and turn on the bluetooth on the Surface, and connect. The build quality is nice. There's a good amount of heft. It feels like brushed aluminum. It charges via USB type C. During my test, it lasted for about a good 12 hours, which is good enough for me. You simply move the hinges to a 90 degree angle, and place your Surface on top. It's that easy. Typing was great. The keys didn't feel sticky in any way, and the touch pad was quick and responsive. All in all, a great little keyboard.

Straight away it felt well made with a little heft, but not too much. Very very simple to set up and no charging brick. Its dual end C cable charger and thats it, which is awesome. You have 3 back light colors for your keys and found it charges pretty fast, and holds its charge very well. I was on the fence with my Surface Pro and this piece makes it feel more like a true laptop than tablet, which is a very nice change. The keys are easy to keep tidy and do not have gaping holes around them for debris to fall into. If you work in a dusty or dirty area this will play to your benefit. I am extremely impressed with the quality of work, design, and feel. It hooks right up to any Surface Pro 4,5,6, or 7. Comes with a decent precharge, but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND charging it fully before using it. This is an overall great addition to any Microsoft Surface user and you'll be glad you bought it..
