I did not watch much of the Buffy series. I think part of that was due to the differences between this great movie and the first couple of episodes of the series. The movie is funny, quirky, dark, and amusing. A little more "Valley Girl", and a bit less goth.

This was the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer, plus the start of a franchise too. The movie is what gave birth to the show few years later. The exciting thing is the movie still hold up and it is just as silly when i last watched. Worth the watch

Kristy Swanson was the perfect choice to play Buffy. Funny & witty. Luke Perry & Donald Sutherland were great. I've had this movie for quite some time. Decided to get it on Blu Ray with digital copy.

I was at Best Buy to purchase one dvd and left with two. This dvd purchase was a impulse prchase. I remember loving this movie as a kid, so I had to buy it. Th e movie was a good price for a blu-ray. It a good stupid-funny movie.

This is a older movie that I had previously seen, but my wife had not and I was delighted when I was able to purchase it from BestBuy at a good price so my wife and I can watch it anytime we want.

Looking back when the buffy movie was released it didn't perform well. Years later its safe to say it's a cult classic.

I had the movie on standard definition DVD but I bought this because it was on sale and was Blu-Ray. It's a great movie, fun to watch, the acting is great as are the script and the production values. Highly recommended.

Yes this movie is cheesy & yes the series diverted from the movie. But I still enjoy the movie. It was my first intro into the Buffyworld when it first came out, before the show. Maybe that’s why I enjoy it.

This film which is both a comedy and some horror was a hit back in 1992. It was a fun filled thrill ride..And a great cast. 'David Arquette Scream saga..And my crush Kristy Swason

This movie is pretty cool for the most part. I can remember watching this movie when I was younger, loved Buffy. Decent cast and crew and a solid storyline with lots of laughs. Definitely worth checking out for sure!

I initially planned to go to a used movie place across town, but I stumbled on the Blu-ray anniversary edition of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Great movie for a low price, how could I go wrong?

This movie has aged well. The comedy is good and the action sequences are well played. I like how the movie doesnt take itself seriously and pokes fun at high school culture.

Nostalgia is the main reason I bought this movie. Seen it as a kid, and loved it. Blu-ray enhances the film to a point, but doesn't compare to some other movies.

Still after all these years this movie will make you laugh at puns and one liners all the way through! It’s a keeper and the digital copy is the best edition!

I have loved the movie and Buffy show. Different actress but still the same type of movie. This is more comedy based. Still has Vampires.
